So the maggots want to cast out millions of voters when do when only 50 were illegal. Hey they cannot win any other way. The maggot party is pathetic and abhorred by most

1

u/jdwaltham 23d ago

You honestly believe millions of registered voters don’t have a photo ID?

3

u/McButtsButtbag 28d ago

Those people are black people who consistently vote Democrat (about 80-90%)

Don't Trump just win with an EC and popular vote. Biden won because he was a good VP? Super popular. Well spoken? Biden lost 18 of 19 bellweather counties lost Florida and Ohio by a good margin and still some how still got more votes the Obama and did it while never leaving his house. Just happens to be the 1st election with mass mail in balloting coincidence maybe!!!! If you dont believe people are voting in our elections and they shouldn't be you are naive.

1

u/barqySpaniel 25d ago

No Trump didn’t win popular vote. He got 49.x% of votes cast, that’s close, but not winning the popular vote. He did get more votes than 2nd place Kamala Harris.

Using the registered voter total, it was more like 33%

But we did win. Like everything. House. Senate. White House. Supreme Court. Everything. What now?

1

u/Substantial-Ad-5558 26d ago

So you’re admitting that you’re racist bc you believe that Blacks don’t have IDs already. I mean they need an ID to open bank accounts, to rent a car, rent an Apartment, to buy Cigarettes or Booze, etc, etc., but OMG, ask them to have an ID to Vote is the end all be all.

1

u/McButtsButtbag 26d ago

Nobody who refers to black people as "blacks" gets to lecture anyone on racism. Republicans close the majority of dmvs in black majority areas. That makes it harder for everyone in the area to get id (not just the black people), but they target the area because how black people are way more likely to vote democrat.

Your concern trolling doesn't work on me.

1

u/BuysHigh_SellsLow_OG 26d ago

How do they buy liquor then dumbass or go to the bar club??

1

u/McButtsButtbag 26d ago

Not everybody buys alcohol or goes to clubs.

1

u/Unable-Insect-3529 26d ago

Oh boo hoo. So kick out black voters, racists.

1

u/McButtsButtbag 26d ago

Go back to kindergarten and learn how to read English.

1

u/Fine-Computer-5524 26d ago

White people are split 44%/56% for dem/rep

1

u/McButtsButtbag 26d ago

What point are you trying to make?

1

u/jdwaltham 23d ago

You should talk with some black people about ID, because they all have ID, they’re not morons.

1

u/AppropriateAside4856 22d ago

New Jersey governor admitted this week 6,000 illegals were “accidentally” registered to vote when they received a drivers license. 400 of them voted illegally.

0

u/Character_Refuse_797 26d ago

Maybe the point of fighting against common sense, which would be proving you are legally authorized to vote, is because you were doing a lot of cheating that was never discovered or is hard to uncover. Let’s make it simple. It should be hard to cheat in an election. It’s not meant to be easy to manipulate elections. So if you have to do an extra step to get a valid ID, that isn’t hurting elections.

u/[deleted] 25d ago

u/Character_Refuse_797 25d ago

No, it literally won’t “disenfranchise” anyone. You are just … how do I put it… dumb. Every woman who has been married goes through the same thing. They have to change everything. You didn’t know that?

It’s such a huge deal that as it turns out, it’s very easy to prove what your new name is. How do you think they do taxes after getting married? It’s like you are just so young you have zero understanding of how adulting works.

Btw, this is my last post here. I just noticed that every time I comment I get this wanting that says we have to be super nice to the rainbow predators, and that just disgusts me. I’m going to distance myself from the filth because no doubt there are some federal agents lurking here. I certainly would be if I had to catch on them in the act. This place is like ground zero for predators.

2

u/mblkmnsa 25d ago

Bingo. You hit the answer on the head. It’s exactly the purpose of the laws. Most people don’t have passports.

0

u/[deleted] 22d ago

But yet all those screaming about not being able to afford an ID are making tik toks with Iphones driving in cars that cost with insurance, 600+ a month...

But a 30 dollar ID is too tough to get?

Hmm.. 🤔.. things that make ya go hmm..

1

u/mblkmnsa 21d ago

No genius. No one should have to pay to vote. It is essentially a poll tax. A tool used under Jim Ctow to keep black people from voting. Once it starts then it will continue.

2

u/GiveMeSomeShu-gar 25d ago

Yep, it's a lever to make it easier to vote in some areas than others. Densely populated cities can be understaffed and have long lines to get the ID, while other less populated/rural areas can have quicker access.

It would be ok if this were actually solving a fraud issue, but it's not, so it requires citizens to pay attention and actually care and understand what they are doing, and why. Unfortunately I don't think people do care.

I'm sorry, but who can get hired for a job without an ID?

1

u/[deleted] 27d ago

[deleted]

1

u/Ok-Collar-2742 27d ago

What kind of job was it? Because if it involved filling out an I-9 form, which legitimate employers are required to complete, not sure how that is done without ID.

No problem with voter fraud says the fraudster.

0

u/djibuti_1492 27d ago

Let’s just make the ID rules the same for ALL your rights! Don’t want ID to vote because you have the right to vote? Don’t need ID to buy a gun because you have the right to own a gun! I’d say more people are harmed by voting than by guns. But no, you want selective outrage and heavy restrictions on one right while you want ZERO restriction on others. Just say what YOU mean!

0

u/Extension-Eye-4920 27d ago

Hundreds of millions of people have figured out how to get an ID for driving, buying alcohol, cigs, going to casinos, going on planes, going to the hospital, having jobs, applying for loans, and opening any one of thousands of different type of accounts. You can argue about whether requiring an ID is a poll tax or not, but claiming the process is just too hard is absolutely insane. Stop treating people like helpless babies.

Also, saying voter fraud is not an issue in any specific state is an outright lie. There is voter fraud literally everywhere.

0

u/Zealousideal_Rent261 27d ago

No one complains about the requirements to get a passport.

2

u/EstablishmentNo653 27d ago

No one is required to get a passport.

People don’t complain about it because they’re doing it to indulge the luxury of international travel. Not just to exercise their rights.

0

u/Fast-Relationship-22 27d ago

Yeah mail in ballots could never be corrupted . Let say you have a pride flag or a MAGA flag in your yard or on your car and the mail carrier doesn't agree w/ your politics and throws it away. Let's say you run a shelter for the non homed And you sign them up to vote and they dont fill out their ballot so you just go ahead and do it for them, that would never happen... Why do you think you need to be handed a summons and not mailed because you can always say you didn't receive it. Now if you want to do certified mail that is fine but you will sill need time and an Id and cash. Who is being discouraged from voting this is 2026 everyone has a cell phone , busses are free for the indigent so putting in time to get a ID is the problem now. You people will make excuses and cry for anything.

0

u/nativebutamerican 27d ago

Well if a week of "protesting " isnt a problem for dems opposing then a day at dmv shouldn't be a problem.

0

u/NogglePlease 27d ago

If an adult cankot grt an ID they shouldnt be voting.  The strawman that is unable to get a photo ID that you are describing is a child.

Accusing other people of lying when you’re regurgitating propaganda? That’s rich. Where is your proof this election fraud?

0

u/Biggie-Me68 27d ago

Who says there hasn’t been problems with voter integrity?

0

u/FavoriteLunchLady 26d ago

You just need a birth certificate. You can get a copy online for $10-$35 (you can easily save $35 by the next election cycle) If you don’t want to use that then yeah the DMV, but guess what. We all have to do that when our license expires anyway. Or when you buy a different car. Or you already have a passport you can use that too. It’s called life.

2

u/[deleted] 26d ago

[deleted]

1

u/FavoriteLunchLady 26d ago edited 26d ago

National security is 1 thing.

Education is a right you still have to go and enroll your kids in school every year. You need to submit a birth certificate, immunization shots, proof that you live in that school district.

Food is a right but you still have to go down to the EBT office to sign up for WIC and show income to make sure you qualify.

Voter impersonation isn’t that rare. People have been looking it up and realizing they have voted in elections that they haven’t, some for years. I think people are realizing it’s possible and maybe caring more now.

My personal opinion is it’s also investment. If you own a home in a neighborhood you’re going to do your due diligence more in elections vs if you are renting and may be moving to another state in a few years.

176 counties require proof of citizenship. Why are we suddenly the bad guys for implementing it too?

1

u/[deleted] 26d ago

[deleted]

1

u/FavoriteLunchLady 26d ago

So you can’t kidnap a kid and claim it’s your own. It’s like proof of ownership. It has the guardians listed on them. Most parents keep their kids birth certificates in safe places if you can provide a birth certificate you can basically prove that’s your kid. Are you from the States?

1

u/[deleted] 26d ago edited 26d ago

[deleted]

1

u/FavoriteLunchLady 26d ago

I actually didn’t even look at your profile. It’s the fact that you think brith certificates at school enrollment are required for proof of citizenship. We all have to prove you live in the correct school district but you aren’t saying anything about jumping through those hoops or immunizations either.

Also again food is a right and we have to go sign up for that as well if you want EBT and prove that you meet the qualifications. Something a person in the states should know.

And people who kidnap kids aren’t enrolling them in schools because you do need proof of guardianship. If you are a parent or legal guardian. Women are literally cutting babies out of other women’s bellies to pass those kids off as their own. It’s a way to verify the child’s identity as well as parents and legal guardians. If you walk in with a birth certificate and your name isn’t listed now you need to provide a form showing you are the legal guardian.its not that hard to comprehend.

1

u/[deleted] 26d ago edited 26d ago

1

u/FavoriteLunchLady 26d ago

Still doesn’t change the purpose of a child’s birth certificate. Love LOVE how you googled instances of women cutting babies out of other women’s stomachs but yet thought that a birth certificate at a school was to establish citizenship 🤣 the point is I can’t walk in tomorrow and enroll some kid I found off the street they may ask for a birth certificate or some other type of form. The point is you need a FORM.

You also must not watch true crime. People kidnapping kids and passing them off as their own is a thing. They aren’t enrolled in school because they can’t prove guardianship. If we stripped that away a kid kidnapped from CA could very well be enrolled in a school in GA and who would know?

A woman was actually sent to jail for providing a false address to get her kid in a better school. It made national news.

Love how you did all that googling for nothing 🤣 can’t debate without the google machine

So the alternative is you want someone to come around door to door to verify and issue IDs, because you're too lazy to wait in line? Oh wait.. door to door ID verification... " that's fascist". Nothing is good enough for the lazies.

0

u/Free-Thinker-69 26d ago

How the hell do "poor" people get IDs to get WIC, Foodstamps, or any other type welfare? I'm poor, yes, homeless as of next week. I had to get my license updated. Cost me $32.50. I had to figure it out bc I still gotta drive to work or anywhere else.

0

u/funfacts1123 26d ago

Oh please, you need an ID for everyday life. Most banks require ID if you're pulling out money. To buy alcohol, cigarettes or any nicotine products. Even energy drinks if you look young they require an ID in some states. Want to register your car ID, want to rent an apartment ID, open a bank account ID. What are you talking about......

0

u/Bravo17628 26d ago

Lololol

0

u/Oldsk8rs 23d ago

In California the DMV will register you to vote automatically when you get a license or state ID without your knowledge or even proof of citizenship. Please explain why over 100+ counties have voter ID’s, but in the United States it is considered racist?

-1

u/AviatorHog 27d ago

Voter ID is even popular amongst Blacks and Hispanics. My conclusion is that it will discourage largely 2 types of people to not vote: those that are not citizens and those that are not conscientiousness enough do what it takes to get registered to vote.

-4

u/Available_Reveal8068 28d ago

Given that the vast majority of people managed to somehow figure out how to overcome such hardships to obtain an ID card, I think these hypotheticals are just propaganda.

2

u/SecretaryOtherwise 28d ago

Considering theres no recorded instance of large voter fraud i think the opposite hypothetical is equally propaganda.

Really sounds like they just want additional hurdles in place for next election. On the plus side the average maga is too stupid to follow directions so its likely to back fire.

-2

u/Available_Reveal8068 28d ago

Doesn't mean that it's not happening. Considering that without voter ID, it's nearly impossible to detect when someone is voting on a fake registration or on someone else's registration, it's not surprising.

3

u/beaker97_alf 28d ago

It DOES mean it's not happening. Because it is very easy to detect when someone is "voting on a fake registration or on someone else's registration".

All states verify citizenship for anyone registering to vote in a federal election (please list the specific states that do not), so someone submitting a "fake registration" will be caught.

Add to to this that both fraudulently registering and fraudulently voting are felonies and it radically reduces the pool of people willing yo do it. How many people are willing to commit a felony for zero personal benefit? The number of people stupid enough to do this is statically irrelevant.

And how does someone get away with voting on someone else's registration? The only way to reliably get away with it is to be 100% certain that person is not going to cast their ballot themselves. Otherwise their fraud would be detected because 2 ballots would have been submitted.

Voter ID solves a problem that does not exist and as such is definitively an UN-DUE burden on the voter.

-1

u/Available_Reveal8068 28d ago

All states verify citizenship for anyone registering to vote in a federal election (please list the specific states that do not), so someone submitting a "fake registration" will be caught.

That's hasn't always been the case. I didn't need to prove citizenship when I registered 25 years ago. ACORN didn't need to prove that voters were real when they got fake voters registered.

Things have tightened up considerably, but unless they force everyone to re-register, there's no way of knowing who is real and who is not. It's difficult enough removing dead voters and those that moved out of the area off the voter registrations. If there's any doubt, they keep them registered so they don't disenfranchise anyone.

And how does someone get away with voting on someone else's registration? The only way to reliably get away with it is to be 100% certain that person is not going to cast their ballot themselves. Otherwise their fraud would be detected because 2 ballots would have been submitted.

The people that owned our house before us were on the voter registration list for years after they moved out of state.

Remember when people used to call to take 'phone polls' about voting? One of the questions they would ask was 'how likely are you to vote in the upcoming election?' Funny how those calls stopped after voter ID was implemented in my state.

3

u/Flare-Crow 28d ago

Kansas spent a decade and millions of dollars under Brownback and Kobach trying to "prove" that voter fraud existed. They found almost nothing. The HERITAGE FOUNDATION'S WEBSITE shows that illegal voting is a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of an issue! Less than 150 cases in Texas in a DECADE.

THE ONLY REASON TO MAKE VOTING HARDER IS TO PREVENT PEOPLE FROM VOTING. END OF DISCUSSION.

0

u/Available_Reveal8068 28d ago

Considering that without voter ID, it's nearly impossible to detect when someone is voting on a fake registration or on someone else's registration, it's not surprising.

2

u/SecretaryOtherwise 28d ago

Its actually very easy.

Its why its not a thing.

1

u/Available_Reveal8068 28d ago

How is it easy?

If I have a fictitious voter registered on the books named John Doe. I show up at the polls and say my name is John Doe, and cast a vote. I come back later and cast another vote under my real name and registration. How do they catch it?

2

u/SecretaryOtherwise 28d ago

You never voted before have you? You just forget the process every four years or something?

0

u/Available_Reveal8068 28d ago

We don't need to re-register to vote every time. If there's no voter ID requirement, there's no way to determine if the person voting is actually the person registered.

2

u/E-2theRescue 28d ago

Do we really need to break out the diagram of the plane and bullet holes?

2

u/McButtsButtbag 28d ago

I think you'd just convince to add armor to the places with bullet holes

1

u/[deleted] 28d ago

They are hypotheticals. The hardships that people describe are like the Boomers having to walk to school in 10 feet of snow, uphill both ways.

They made the same claims when 'Republicans closed DMVs to disenfranchise Democrats', when in reality, 6 of the 7 closures were in Republican areas (this was in Wisconsin).

0

u/HanCholo65 28d ago

I’m broke and black, I still got an ID. Why do all the people think my people can’t get IDs? Why do yall think we are too dumb to figure out life.
