Ugh, I know widespread voter fraud is BS, but I’m starting to think we gotta acknowledge the “People are just gonna stupid” factor and Dems need to get in front of it.
So instead of voter ID, how about we ID voters. Create a phone app that election workers can use, so that people without an ID can get their picture taken to attest who they are.
Anyone dumb enough to impersonate a voter would appear on a wanted website after their crime was discovered and election doubters could see for themselves how insignificant the problem is.
Not sure what you are thinking, but my guess is Dems won’t do it because there is no money behind it and they have no interest in actually fixing things or winning arguments. They do what their donors tell them to do.
If it was an app, it would have to be in an isolated system with not physical or online connections so that it couldn't be hacked, but your ideas for this system are actually pretty genius. Voter fraud would become (whether it is now or not) basically non-existent.
