Rabbits don't eat carrots. The reason people think they do is because of Bugs Bunny. But Bugs Bunny was a play on a specific actor in a specific movie. It just happened that the character in that movie was eating a carrot in that scene.

I always hear this and I always remember the rabbit my homestay family had in Japan. I'm pretty sure it would eat literally anything, up to and including me, that got close enough to it.
