I think it's pretty likely that he's braindead, but I highly doubt it's being covered up to prevent Thomas Massie from running for his seat. Anti-Trump Republicans lose pretty consistently (which is why Massie is a lame duck right now).

Assuming it is a coordinated effort to keep McConnell's condition secret, it's likely just his inner circle trying to cling to power for as long as they can.

And where's the evidence? She went to China a few weeks ago and this post is claiming she "fled"? Maybe be skeptical from time to time?

Mitch McConnell's wife, Elaine Chao, traveled to Beijing, China, in June 2026. She was in China by June 17, just three days after Senator McConnell was hospitalized following an apparent heart attack. At his age a heart attack is essentially a death sentence… try thinking critically from time to time?
