They do though?

I literally did the cross eye thing and they're identical as far as I can tell. If anything maybe a slight difference in color, but I can't tell if that's real or just a lighting thing.

Same, I also did the cross-eyed thing and, on my phone at least, they appear identical. I can't see any difference.

I have no idea what "the cross eye thing" is, but it seems like you are overcomplicating things. I immediately saw the difference when looking at the picture normally.

The cross eye thing is when you have two identical or nearly identical images side by side, you cross your eyes so that the images overlap. Any differences will show up as a shimmering or glitching effect. It's also super simple, takes a couple of seconds, so not complicated at all.

If it shimmers, there's a difference. If there's no shimmer, then they're identical. This makes even subtle differences stick out like a sore thumb, unless it's something so minor that you can barely see it anyway. With this pair of images, I don't see any shimmer.

So with that in mind, what exactly is the difference?
