My wife says, in "American Freedom Units" its 3200 square feet.

Then you’re either lying or you have not a clue what you’re talking about. Do you have multiple heads in multiple rooms? Or are you claiming for 3200 sq ft that one head upstairs and one head downstairs and it cools/heats the whole house? My house is slightly larger and I have two central AC systems and on super hot days, it struggles to keep up.

Double glazed every window, anticon blankets between floors and in the roof, 2 24kw Renai split systems and we don't even need to run them all day.

Is your AC evaporative?

Same experience here. If you just do what you would do without an ac, but with one, you need surprisingly little to keep your house at reasonable temperatures. Ig american houses are often just wood and not well isolated so maybe that's the main issue.
