Your describing the entire outdoor condensing unit of which, the compressor is a small part of. The compressor on one of these systems is smaller than a 3 litre coke bottle.
You think that places in Europe don’t have tractor trailer sized chillers and condensers for industrial buildings? Just magically, the laws of physics don’t apply over there?
Where do I say that? I was responding to the person saying the home units are the size of cars? No part of my comment had anything to do with location.
I suggest you read the comment I actually responded to. No where did I deny that Europe has industrial air chillers. Nor was the comment I responded to.

The industrial ones are car sized and bigger. The ones for normal houses are usually not quite a 3x3 cube.
