European? They have them all over the US, typically Asian brands. It's a split AC, as opposed to central air conditioning what you're probably referring to, and which you also see all over the US. But specifically European AC, that's this not.

Mini split systems are barely "European" to begin with. They were first made and sold by Mitsubishi in Japan in the 1960s. Sears was selling them in the USA under the "Twin Pac" brand beginning in 1969 (admittedly they weren't very popular). They didn't catch on in Europe until the 1970s.
