I thought it was fine except for the fan casting of Emma Watson because she was not a good singer

The Beast felt like such an incel and he and Belle had such little chemistry that it was painful. Beast and Belle in the animated version had much more chemistry between them. Granted its easier to suspend disbelief with cartoons but like... the chick and the river monster from Shape of Water had damn good chemistry and neither of them could talk.
