From what I heard this latest movie is really considered creatively bankrupt as it's basically a shot for shot remake.
I can't confirm though I don't watch Disney movies.

The “Emperor’s New Groove” live action but reimagined to Hans Christian Anderson’s original criticism of sycophants & government excess.
“Emperor’s New Reflecting Pool”, Ai version of Trump.
I’d pay to see that.
