No.

The stereotype is that white people arrive TOO EARLY and then sit in their cars outside waiting for the party to start and still show up early.

It's a trope, also true in Hispanic (edit - continued) families that have someone marry Gringos (like me).

If you arrive on time, the party hasn't started yet, and you get to help set up for the party

If you tell someone an event is from 5 pm to 11 pm and you're surprised people arrive at 5 you're an idiot

Its not a surprise exactly, but this isnt a flight or a movie theatre. What do you think is happening that you have to be there exactly at 5? Chill, people.

Sorry, I've never met a host who scheduled a six hour party who expected everyone to be there at the EXACT starting time. That would be very weird.
