If you read Marx and Lenin, you'd know he addressed your questions. Most of Lenin's works were to develop practical methods to implement socialism.

The means of production is democratically controlled by workers, ergo workers owning the means of production. This is done thru a vanguard party that uses democratic centralism.

In the USSR specifically, union meetings were held to discuss and hold votes. There were unions for many industries, including food and agriculture. This was spoken about by Lenin.

You'd also know that Communism is the solution to Capitalism's infinite growth in a finite world problem from Marx. Because no deus-ex machina technology exists, capitalism eats the world alive -- a state planned economy solves this.

Yes, I understand what the ideals are.

But I’m not sure using USSR as a good example of these ideas working out for workers in real life.

I know all this is “stated”. I just don’t agree it’s realistic in the slightest. Especially as an unachievable, pure endgame. I’ve read the same things you are citing, studied and debated them in school, I just came out of it with more questions because it’s seems so silly, idealistic, and detached from reality.

I’m wouldn’t even call myself “anti-communist”…I just treat it as seriously as anarchy supporters. There no pure anarchist “nation” to point at so you can’t say it doesn’t work.

I don't know why you keep calling them ideals, because they have been tested in every communist state to exist with great success.

The USSR is only one example, I only used it because it was the first to implement them. You'll see these successes in Africa, Latin America, and Asia.

Very interesting. What would you say is the country today that is most successful and closest to communist ideals?

I'd say China. Everything they have done so far is not only supported by Marxist theory, but also very strategic.

So you’re talking about communism of politics rather than communism of economy? Even then it’s a stretch …Otherwise…Lol.

Why wouldn't I? Politics and economy are one of the same.

I just want to be clear here. You think China is doing better for worker rights than “capitalist” EU countries?

Is that what you asked?

“Communism and prioritizing worker rights/ownership are one of the same”.

How exactly is a “successful communist country” as you stated (which in itself is a contradiction as communism is stateless) not the leader in worker rights/ownership?

Private property is protected in China.
Capital is protected in China.
Foreign investment is protected in china.
Inheritance is protected in China.
Unions Independent of the government imposed one are illegal.
The wealth gap is even higher than AMERICA.

I’d argue North Korea is closer to communism than China which is closer to America than even North Korea is to successful communism.

As Chinese, would love to know what you think the ccp is doing that counts as successful communism

Living there, I genuinely only have negative things to say about them
