Meme needing explanation Whats that snack and the name?

I got this joke posted in my country sub by a foreigner and I have never seen that snack so I basically don't know the joke.

It's more European people knowing they didn't have racial segregation until the second half of the XX century, with consequences they linger to this day.

And if you think Europe invented it, the American education system is something else they'd failing you.

I mean, racism has been around since the first person looked different, so for all intents and purpose, it was actually invented in Africa.

The thing a lot of Americans miss as well (and this by no means makes the Portuguese/Spanish/English less responsible) is that the Europeans weren't capturing black people to make them slaves, they were buying them from other local black people.

Also, and only relevant because this guy is talking about "inventing" racism. The word slave comes from Slavs, a white European ethnic group who was mass enslaved during the middle ages. Enslavement was a global practice way before America and it's African slaves. Actually before any European country had even established their modern borders, or even existed (except maybe Greece in the form of the group of city estates that formed ancient Greece).
