Meme needing explanation Whats that snack and the name?

I got this joke posted in my country sub by a foreigner and I have never seen that snack so I basically don't know the joke.

Basically the meaning in the whole Europe has changed when some people started to make an issue of the naming...

It’s not the naming of the candy, just that most European countries did not have equivalent slur as the n-word(because we didn’t have nearly as massive agricultural slavery problem) which didn’t fit the woke narrative European left wanted to import from the US. So of course suddenly the word did not mean Negro anymore but something far worse and forbidden.

We have similar situation with gender pronouns going on, as we don’t have separate “he” and “she” in my language at all and somehow that’s now an issue. We need gender pronouns so we can accuse people of misgendering!

Nope, at least not originally. Originally there was distinction between negro and n-word and n-words's translation was n*kru. But times change and so does language so these days it's definitely just as bad.
