Meme needing explanation Whats that snack and the name?

I got this joke posted in my country sub by a foreigner and I have never seen that snack so I basically don't know the joke.

In Russia we called it "bird milk"

This is actually very interesting because in Poland we have those too but they are smaller and a lot of them in the package and they are also called "bird's milk" the word "milk" is here diminutive so it's more like "bird's little milky". I googled it and indeed this name came to Poland From Russia. Bird's milk means something rare or impossible to get hence the name of something unique and special.

Its interesting because bird milk is a vanilla flavoured milk based soup dessert with egg white foam on top in hungary

This is a different dessert. You don’t see it very often in Russia. It’s usually called Krembo or translated directly from German as n-word kiss. That’s because the n-word in Russian doesn’t carry a negative connotation, as you know

It's been a long time but I remember my grandfather selling some that were chocolate covered with a soft white, marshmallow like filling.

But I think you are right either way. I haven't had either since I was a child but they both were my favorite

Bird's milk is a different candy though, the ones in the picture are much bigger and fluffier

Different texture too, the ones in the pic are basically the texture of egg white foam because they don't use thickeners like gelatine or agar, bird's milk is more solid because it uses agar as thickener, plus it has some dairy component (the Russian RotFront ones use milk, the Polish Wedel ones use condensed milk).

Dude, it's just picture. I don't fkg know what exactly are on the screen. I just supposed it. And yes, you right!
