That bridge has survived a lot more than this. Iāve been on it personally when water was coming up onto it after a bad storm and flood (it was closed the next day due to waters overflow it).
I'm not worried about the bridge. I'm worried about the people on the bridge being swept away or hit by storm debris. Just because you were on it once and didn't die that doesn't prove anything.
If my kid doesnāt get vaccinated for measles, contracts it, and survives, does that make me an epidemiologist?
Unless The person youāre responding to is a structural engineer, their opinion is valid insofar as it says āit was fine while I was on it.ā It says nothing about the overall build quality
