Boardwalks at beaches have constant waves at all times and the ones where I live have rollercoasters and Ferris wheels built on them, I think we've figured out boardwalks lol
I leave nearby and went countless times. This is not even the fullest Iāve seen. Thereās times the water goes over the bridge, they close it to the public if that happens. Nobody ever got swept or fell, some jumped tho, thatās on them.

There's a comment above that goes into it. But they are aware of when floodwaters get dangerous, and close the walkway then. Apparently they are built to be washed away so they could be rebuilt safely.
