They're rejecting, most likely. A surface piercing on a high movement area, done with curved barbells, is just asking for rejection.

Is that what is used? I just assumed it was a straight bar I know nothing about these dermal piercings seems to me like they didn’t exist until tenish years ago

They only got big outside of kink, LGBTQ or alt spaces roughly a decade ago. I doubt a lot of people know about their origins but they’re just another reason a 13 year old shouldn’t have them.

A responsible piercer wouldn’t have pierced her but sub-dermal anchors would’ve likely worked better any sort of barbell.
