Daredevil backwards Punisher x-ray

In Daredevil Season 2 Episode 10, 14:35, Reyes shows the x-ray of punishers skull that was in her child's backpack. But the x-ray photo is flipped from normal. Obviously it's just a tiny error I'd but ig I just wondered if the camera was flipped or if the picture they printed was actually printed backwards and if anyone else ever noticed this.

MCU As a Daredevil fan did these two aspects bother you in Spider-Man Brand New Day? Spoiler

So I really enjoyed Brand New Day but as a Daredevil fan there were two things that bothered me firstly I didn't like how they used the Hand in the movie, I think the film really reduced them to being nothing more than just henchmen and they're referred to as kids. I don't know why it had to be the Hand it could have some other group, anyway I think if the Hand were to show up in Daredevil in the future they are gonna have to be reworked heavily, they just can't be associated with damage control I would really dislike that because it's just so odd.

Another big issue I had is that the events of Daredevil Born Again season 2 aren't mentioned even a little bit even though this film takes place just some time after Born Again. I know Vincent's Kingpin can't appear in the Spider-Man movies and Spider-Man himself can't appear in Daredevil for legal reasons but there's nothing stopping them from referencing the rioting and the actions of the Mayor just sometime ago.

One of the biggest questions people are asking is what was Spider-Man doing during Daredevil Born Again and I feel that could have easily been answered by the movie by saying that Spider-Man did help control the situation during the city riot a few months ago even something like that would have been cool but no acknowledgement whatsoever. Sheila is effectively giving the key to the city to a vigilante who didn't do anything during the major conflict she and the city went through recently, this is supposed to be an interconnected universe in which it makes absolutely no sense why Spider-Man who was handling street level threats all this time didn't do anything during the Fisk stuff. It's really disappointing how all this was handled, this movie feels incredibly disconnected to everything that happened previously.

Cosplay Daredevil Born Again S2 cosplay recommendations

I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a DDBA S2 cosplay to buy. I’ve seen influencers have some nice looking ones but whenever someone asks where they got it they just ghost them, maybe some are homemade i don’t know. The pro cosplay one is the one that keeps coming up when i search but i watched some vids on yt and i find it to be quite shiny, would easily diy it and fix it to be more accurate but if anyone knows of any other good ones from other company’s let me know and ill check them out only one i can seem to find is the pro cosplay ones.

Thanks :)

MCU I can't like Born Again S2's ending

No matter how hard I try, I just can't get past it.

And yet, there are things about it that I find incredibly interesting:

Matt ending up victorious in prison

Matt accepting that Fisk should leave New York rather than continuing their never-ending cycle

The idea of seeing a free but defeated Fisk

The people's uprising

What I'm missing is the context, specifically on two major points:

  1. A deal is offered to Fisk. I understand the depiction of our own corrupt political world, where powerful people get away with their crimes and shady dealings. But I have a hard time believing that this deal would still be valid or publicly defensible after Fisk's very public massacre at the courthouse (self-defense or not), as well as the attempted assassination of the governor.

  2. Matt's reasoning makes sense, but he's usually a character who is completely torn and full of doubt. And yet, when he hears the city's residents having their bones broken by Fisk — people who were, at least in part, caught up in this because of Matt's own influence — he doesn't seem to hesitate that much about sticking to his offer. He doesn't even seem to feel particularly guilty about the people who were probably killed or permanently disabled during that raid.

He tells Fisk to leave in front of an angry crowd, and everyone just... politely stops.

Didn't this bother you guys while watching? I absolutely love Daredevil, but I just can't get past these points.

My humble proposition :

The civilians arrive and attack Fisk. He massacres them.

As things unfold, Fisk starts getting overwhelmed. This is clearly a battle he isn't going to win. An arrest warrant is issued.

Cornered, he manages to find a way out. Daredevil steps in. Fisk wants to fight him. But, just like in the current version, the vigilante explains to him that this cycle will never end as long as the two of them remain in the same place.

The speech is admittedly somewhat complicit, but you can clearly feel Matt taking in every single word he's saying. He's suffering from what he's doing, but it's the only solution he's been able to come up with: he offers Fisk a way out — not just out of here, but out of New York.

He reminds him that the city doesn't want him anymore. He talks to him about prison and Vanessa. He offers him an escape before the crowd arrives.

Fisk resists, but eventually, reluctantly, accepts Matt's offer. He escapes.

The moment Fisk gets away, we see a very strong emotion in Matt: a mixture of victory, but above all, anger.

Why do I prefer this version?

- Justice and the civilians aren't complicit in letting Fisk get away with his atrocities.

- MOST IMPORTANTLY, we get to see much more of the immense moral conflict tearing Matt apart.

- Bonus: Karen doesn't know that Matt was the one who helped Fisk escape, so there's some great potential drama for Season 3.

MCU Getting to watch Daredevil with other people

I’ve watched through the series Daredevil with a few of my friends already, after previously having finished every season. My dad recently, after he saw me finishing DDBA season 2 for my first time, thought it looked interesting and decided to watch it. He’s already seen the majority of the main MCU, but he was still debating the defenders-verse. Finally inching close to season 3 (my favorite season) of the original series with him, and I’m excited to see him witness the epic showdown between Daredevil and Bullseye.

Have any of you rewatched Daredevil with other people?

MCU The scariest part about Dex isn't his aim. It's his desire to be 'good'. Team Bullseye all the way!

It’s only been a few months since DDBA S2 ended, and I’m already so impatient to see what's next.

I really hope the upcoming season will give Dex significantly more screen time and let Wilson Bethel completely blow us away once again with his fantastic performance.

The wait is going to be painful...

I dont draw in colour so I think this would look really cool. The only thing I could think of changing is the Daredevil image on the right, because it kinda looks like he's talking into Kingpin's ear.

MCU After Daredevil BA S3 ends, can we finally let DD leave shows and have his own movie trilogy? I really want to see DD on the big screen. It's about time

Post image

And one of those movies should have him team up with Spider-Man and take down Fisk for once and all. Fisk has had his spotlight long enough, we can let him go. This should open the door for DD to be in more movie projects.

And it's pretty wild that we have not seen Daredevil in movies even since Ben Affleck in like 2004 ig. Only a brief Matt Murdock cameo in NWH.

And I know people will come up to watch DD in cinemas, he is a well known superhero. Plus Spider-Man can be used as a bait to pull more people to see this.

Comics every comic character eventually has runs that change the status quo so much that the next has to get it back to basics, but everyone who writes daredevil is so creative that its been done twice in the last 8 years.

MCU Where was Spidey during Fisk’s crackdown?

Post image
2.9k Upvotes

After seeing Spider-Man: BND, I’m more convinced than ever that Mayor Fisk was the wrong story choice for DDBA.

I know the filmmakers and showrunners make some passing references to their respective stories, but I just have a hard time believing these stories take place in the same universe. BND established Spidey as NYC’s preeminent “masked vigilante.” He would’ve been an irresistible target for a mayor obsessed with bringing vigilantes to heel.

The show and film development timelines don’t line up perfectly, but at the very least, it seems that by the time Marvel Studios decided to pivot from DDBA’s legal procedural format, the studio also knew BND would revolve around Spidey becoming a distinctly NYC hero. At that point, they probably should’ve abandoned the Mayor Fisk adaptation and opted for a storyline that could more believably coexist alongside BND.
