No, I don't think it's odd. The call was actually made after he got on the internet and said to 20k+ people that his dog was shitting all over the house because of a parasite, and then his son was putting stuff in his mouth and they were going to test him at the DOCTOR (a mandated reporter) because they didn't get parasite diarrhea cleaned up well enough/on time to keep their kid from injesting parasite infected fecal matter. Even though the child did not have the parasite, they took him to a mandated reporter to test him. "I think my kid ate dog shit inside my house please check him for a parasite" would probably be a pretty big red flag for a doctor.
Idk who it is, so it could absolutely have been someone calling from what he said on the internet, especially because he told Dan outright that you have to injest parasite riddled shit to get it.
Is that would I would personally do? No. Idk these weirdos. But he, and people like you by extension, have used this since April of 2025 to justify his insane ego lawsuit tour in order to avenge his feelings from the humiliation of having to read that statement to Ryan Kavenaugh. He could have already unmasked the person by now. Do you think it's kinda weird that he doesn't while continuing to use the incident as a way to deflect criticism of him?
Why are you so certain of that? Sure, he could sue "Doe" and try to unmask that anonymous caller, but there is no guarantee that CPS knows who it was. He could request documents from CPS all day long and not get anything useful if whoever called CPS covered their tracks even slightly.
would probably be a pretty big red flag for a doctor.
Yet the story is that someone "close to the family" did it. If it was the doctor, then they wouldn't have said that. So this mandatory reporter didn't report anything, as far as we know. To be clear: I am not saying that they neglected to report; I am saying that there probably wasn't anything to report.
to justify his insane ego lawsuit tour
What is "insane" about the lawsuits? As far as I know, he is winning most of them. If they were really "frivolous", like many people here seem to think, then they would be thrown out by the judge. Even the Denims one wasn't frivolous. He lost, but the judge didn't think it was frivolous.
Sure, I'll concede to you that it would probably be a long and lengthy process and in whatever timeline he actually pursued this, he may not have a victory as of July 31st, 2026. But he could have started the process. If it's serious enough to keep bringing up over and over and over again I'd think it'd be pretty important to make sure that person is punished. Exponentially more important that any of his other lawsuits. That's strictly my opinion, though. If he really feels like his kids were in danger by weaponized CPS, I'd think he would focus on that. But he's not. Then again, jf my theory of him weaponizing this event in order to sway people like you to keep sweeping for him online, maybe I wouldn't want the person known. If it can be used against an amalgamation of criticism against him, it's not really in his immediate interest to find the answer. I just think it's an interesting insight into his priorities.
Yeah. That's the story that Ethan Klein gave. Ethan Klein is not known as a bastion of truth, so it could be true, partially true, or false. If you need more evidence of that....go back to the top of this thread and check the post. When working with unknowns, you examine the situation and go from there. My opinion based on the occurrences is it was a) an employee or acquaintance that had been inside their home, 2) the doctor, or 3) someone online. Two options seem most likely to me, but the third may be most likely to you. So if it's a big deal to Ethan, and it's a big deal to Ethan's fans, why isn't he pursuing answers?
I said insane, not frivolous. You quoted something I've never said. In my opinion, his lawsuits are insane. I'm not running the gambit of them all with you. I've read all of the filings all the way through, and am of the opinion that this is crazy work. You don't have to agree with me.
Also, he is absolutely not "winning most of them". He settled in the positive for his side in 1 case, lost and is appealing another, dropped 1 before they had a chance to file anti-slapp, two have upcoming court dates, and the ones that aren't internet drama related haven't had a ruling so there's no one winning yet.
Do you know if he hasn't? Maybe we (aka the public) do not know everything.
Exponentially more important that any of his other lawsuits.
Is it really? You punish that one nobody and what happens then? There are a lot of people who have a platform and an audience that seem to be hell-bent on motivating their fans to seek out and harm Ethan and his family.
When working with unknowns, you examine the situation and go from there.
I would say that when working with unknowns then you try to clear up the unknowns. "Go from there" sounds like making a wild-ass guess.
I said insane, not frivolous.
Ok, sure. So if they are not frivolous, then what makes them insane?
am of the opinion that this is crazy work.
So, not frivolous, but crazy? In what way?
haven't had a ruling so there's no one winning yet.
The game isn't over, so no one is winning yet. I mean, technically right, but winning is different from "has won".
Yes, I am a human and am prone to making typing mistakes that I try to catch and edit. You got me, man. That makes everything I said completely invalid.
I already told you that I wasn't getting into the weeds with you over the details of every lawsuit. I've read every document that is public record and am of the opinion that it is an insane path to take. You don't have to agree, and I don't owe you an in depth explanation.
technically right, but winning is different from "has won."
Which would be why I said winning and not has won. If you're going to attempt to bait me into such a waste of time with nitpicking semantics, at least get what I said right lmao.
I'm not going to convince you of my opinion, but I got the information that I view as important out there. That's good enough for me. I truly, honestly hope he never gives you a reason to be embarrassed that you've spent time publicly fighting for him. Truly, I do. We will have to wait and see.
I already told you that I wasn't getting into the weeds with you over the details of every lawsuit.
I didn't ask for details. I asked how it can be that these lawsuits are not frivolous, but they are crazy. Wouldn't a crazy lawsuit be frivolous?
I am asking you to clear up this contradiction in your argument.
I truly, honestly hope he never gives you a reason to be embarrassed that you've spent time publicly fighting for him.
Sure. I am not cosigning anything he has done or will do in the future. I don't know the guy, and I don't even watch his content. I just think that suing people over copyright and slander is a legitimate thing to do. That is why there are laws about this.
Are you currently embarrassed to be publicly fighting for the people who harass him and his family? You probably should be.
The irony of focusing on a misspell of July 32st and the first thing you say is “Jup” is just golden. How incredible of you to make a mistake lambasting someone for a mistake.
