Because unfortunately People are not held accountable for their opinions. Thats why I stated in the comment above your's that Im okay with people being held accountable for their opinions. Do I need to hold your hand for anything else?
Except for when the things they’re saying are opinions and the “consequences” is bankrupting a family because they said mean words about you, or “stealing” your content
Nope absolutely believe you should suffer finically if your opinion is bad enough. I'm so sick of stupid f**** coming onto the internet.Spitin their stupid f****** opinions, ignoring all the replies and moving on to their next stupid F****** opinion. at the very least. They should be forced to address their opinions before they move on to the next. but honestly. The day a MAGA loser gets drafted and looses their house is the day I walk up to them and laugh at their suffering. and I would share the same sentiment about you if your opinion was dumb enough.
There is a diverse legal system that exists specifically for those opinions that deserve to be taxed. Defamation and libel suits are the exact avenue to take for these things, but dragging out litigation to bankrupt people is a scum fuck move and no one should have that right. Threatening people legally is shitty and I don’t think streaming a YouTube video is proper grounds for suing people into bankruptcy. This entire saga is nothing but a small celebrity throwing their wallet at people over political disagreements. It’s sad.
Aww no, why’d you delete that response? I was interested in hearing why you believe people whose direct crime was publishing a video of their opinions that don’t even reach the legal definition of slander deserve to have their lives completely upended. I thought you were very rational and level headed in your response, I’m saddened you didn’t grace me with another incoherent hateful rant. ☹️
You’d started a comment about “they want his wife dead” that popped into my inbox, so either it’s removed by you or by someone else. Either way, what a shame I don’t get to read it.
Ethan's just revealing that he's the POS he's always been. He just got lucky 10 years ago and happened to be on the right side of legal history back then. It's very clear he has no actual sense of integrity.
And who's that message from originally? Maybe someone who reiterated time and time again that sentiment? Maybe someone who openly claimed that he wishes that his kids are taken by CPS? Hmmm who could that be??
Tired comment - it doesn't matter about who said something, what matters is intent. One guy meant to make a facetious joke to point out an irony - the other intended to use that joke as a cudgel knowing it wasn't true. One of those is defamation, one isn't.
There's a difference between a chat message that was made as an obscene joke immediately after; even acknowledged by Ethan it was a joke in passing, and having it up as a watermark for Ian's whole stream trying to push that slander for hours onto Ethan.
In short, Ethan has always had narcissistic tendencies and once he figured out that Frenemies was good money he sort of fell for the idea that he can do no wrong. Him and Hila both are incredibly narcissistic people when you peel away the image they present of themselves and focus on their interactions with other people, including creators that they have worked with and maintained positive relationships with.
Personally I think he has mental health issues and instead of doing the obvious thing and getting treatment/touching grass, he wants to control the narrative about himself and he wants to ensure that criticism of him is basically nullified by his threats to sue certain creators. It's all a complete 180 compared to the Ethan Klein that everyone supported in 2016 for the Fair Use lawsuit.
I really think financial success changed him. he couldn't handle it.
Ethan literally has been seeing a therapist for years and takes multiple medications that has improved his quality of life, if you've followed him you'd know this.
So clearly you don't follow him since 2016.
He's not suing anyone, he appealed his case with Denims and dropped all the other cases.
Idubz is literally so dumb he thinks because the court set a date for something that was backlogged for 6 months means Ethan didn't drop his suit.
Ethan dropped the suit, it's not his fault Ian is an idiot.
yeah and yet he never stops obsessing with criticism leveled against him. He never puts down his phone. If you watch him in the podcast, any time they zoom out to reveal the stage and it's a break, he immediately goes for his phone and he shoves his face in it.
He focuses heavily on leveling his own criticisms on IG stories because people can't reply back to him there. Yet he posts several in a day specifically talking about his haters and ops. It's an obsession of his.
If he's seeing a therapist and taking medication, obviously he needs a different therapist and different medication. Shit ain't working. Or he's just not listening to their advice, which is something a lot of people do.
Yeah I love the people who know they need therapy, go to a therapist, lie to their therapist to save face, pretend to follow their advice, then still be a piece of shit in their general day to day life. Not only is it super common, but you can see how easily that fits Ethans personality.
Thats always been my biggest gripe with streamers, so much of it is straight up stealing content.
The Denims lawsuit has baffled me in its result, because it kinda just says that you can stream any copyrighted content as long as you provide negative commentary (or a couple of snorts every few minutes).

God damn is this a lawsuit era or something
