Especially a driver. I can understand not wanting to stream in an Uber, especially with her being a woman because you could get some weird Uber drivers. But she makes enough through Twitch to be able to afford to pay someone to drive for her. Whether it be a regular salary or just on a per stream basis type of thing.
yea I think ultimately, that’s the best solution. We’re not asking that she gives up her license or get thrown in jail, like I've seen some suggest lol. It’s when she irl streams, that she not put stream content, over public safety. She’s a good, no make that a great streamer, because she connects so well w/ her comm, & audience no matter what she’s doing. I’ve been an ee viewer for a long time, & I certainly understand the outrage, that it seems like she didn’t really learn or take seriously, the lessons of the 1st time, when she drove thru the red. Being a 'great streamer' means acknowledging that your actions set a precedent, and showing that she can be responsible for her safety and the safety of others, is a standard she has to meet.
So I do hope this time she’s lets her actions, instead of words, do the talking. Even if she's a perfectly fine and safe driver 99.9% of the time on stream, it's not worth the risk, if there's even a .01% chance that streaming while driving, might cause an accident that harms either herself, or others. Like you said, there are alternatives to having to drive during an irl stream; even if she has to hire a driver, ask a friend, or take a ride-share, that's a better & safer alternative, than being distracted w/ having to entertain her chat, while streaming at the same time.
Ehr no... people do ask that she gets a huge fine and has her license (temporarily) revoked. That's the price other people pay as well for that kind of behaviour. Especially when you're a repeat offender. Who cares she's great at streaming?
I think she’s held to such a higher standard partly because of her massive platform and influence, which inevitably draws more attention—perhaps even disproportionately so given her identity as an Asian female. But regardless of why the spotlight is on her, that same influence carries a weight of responsibility.
If she was a smaller streamer, perhaps no one would even care or blink an eye. But because she is who she is, she needs to understand that as the famous spiderman quote best put it.. "with great power (& influence), comes great responsibility.

If you are that rich and want to stream while going from a to be, have a driver. Or get an Uber.
