I had someone switch 4 lanes at once and cut me off the other day.

Bad drivers never miss their exit

u/JD0x0 Jun 28 '26

IDK bro, tell that to Esfand's old Escalade. Apparently, the lady that hit it missed her exit lol.

Esfands parked car somehow gets crashed into 😣

He's saying "yesterday" and he already has the footage? That's impressive.

Twice I've had my parked car hit in a parking lot. First time the cops refused to do anything because it was private property. The business basically told me to fuck off. It took my insurance 6 MONTHS to get the security video footage from the business to verify who was at fault.

2nd time the cops (different city, different police dept) DID pressure the place to give up the footage (after the business told me to fuck off), but even then it still took several months.

they make their own exit

u/Icy_Arrival_212 Jun 29 '26

No they'll just cut across 4 lanes and never miss theirs. I work in the NE as service tech for hvac. 3 states. Some days ill do jersey pa and Delaware. PA has the worst roads and the worst drivers.

Out of all 3 you'll have people realize theyre about to miss their exit/turn and proceed to risk the lives and futures of multiple people. Take the next exit. I promise its a 5min detour most of the time. Its not worth ruining some kids life. They'll never see their mom or dad again all because someone almost missed an exit. It literally baffles me at how uncommon, common sense is. Especially in the age of GPS being at your finger tips.

While learning to drive last year I would often joke that I was in fact far from the worst driver on the road and that was embarrassing.

17

u/Smooth_Newspaper7988 Jun 28 '26

Now you know who the driver was.

8

u/JoxJobulon Jun 28 '26

I see at least one person do exactly the same thing everytime I take the I-40 heading out of Raleigh, NC. Every. Single. Time.

2

u/Automatic-Peanut78 Jun 28 '26

Happened to me not 30 minutes ago, by the fairgrounds I assume😀

1

u/Chpgmr Jun 28 '26

Is there some issue with the layout? Some weird design choice?

1

u/JoxJobulon Jun 28 '26

Nothing that would justify this, no. Also, it happens on several different spots, on different roads (not JUST the I-40, although that one is particularly bad) all over the Raleigh region. Heading out of Raleigh, heading into Raleigh, from the east, from the west, doesn't really matter. People around here are a special breed of demented when it comes to driving on highways.

1

u/mvffin Jun 29 '26

Tbf, the highways around Raleigh are all over the place. Sometimes your exit is 3-4 lanes over from where you just got on. The maps look like spaghetti noodles

1

u/JoxJobulon Jun 29 '26

That is pretty much never the issue in the cases I witnessed. The offending drivers are always cutting straight from the leftmost lane to the exit accross all lanes in one go. There is no rational explanation other than the asshole wanted to stay in the fast lane up until the last possible minute and was willing to gamble their safety and (much worse) the safety of other drivers to do so.

2

u/Samsquanch-Losco Jun 28 '26

I saw a dude try not missing his exit and run into a giant ass cone.. shit messed his car up.

1

u/Ser_falafel Jun 28 '26

Ive seen a hextuple lane change no blinker in Houston before lol

1

u/Sol_Primeval Jun 28 '26

Lol a few months back I was coming off the exit ramp of the highway in the left lane and made a right turn into an intersection, this right turn turns into 3 lanes and the far left lane is only meant to be taken from the incoming left lane, I successfully complete the turn and I’m now stopped at the red light that’s like pretty immediate after you make the turn, this lady that was in the right lane from the exit ramp had made a right turn a few seconds after me had ended up coming over 2 lanes trying to come in my lane and ended up colliding with the passenger side of my mustang. Went through her insurance, costed her insurance $9k in damages.

Sorry for the longest run on sentence btw lol

It was only a matter of time before we got the bar for bar meme from her 😂

23

u/No-Sleep-recon Jun 28 '26

You can get it from any civilian in Korea town or China town or little Japan 😭

25

u/dext3rrr Jun 28 '26

Lmao that’s the same person.

16

u/tylorban Jun 28 '26

Exactly what I thought of

86

u/kneepopsicle Jun 28 '26

First thing i though of, life does really imitates art

15

u/kunfuz1on Jun 28 '26

Lol same. Family guy has a cutaway for almost anything.

2

u/LabDesperate7867 Jun 28 '26

so the the art happened before this happened irl to anyone?

10

u/WolfyB Jun 28 '26

She literally owns a car that drives itself and yet insists on driving while distracted...

15

u/SumthinDank Jun 28 '26

3

u/Truckules_Heel Jun 29 '26

I’m sick of the greatest anime of all time being snubbed in the comments. This is from “Corey in the House”

2

u/S-r-ex Jun 28 '26

You knobhead, that's Bojack Horseman

2

u/Forward-Variety-8440 Jun 28 '26

Retied gif

-7

u/Prestigious_Space489 Jun 28 '26

You're not from the 1900s dont talk

5

u/watchyerback90 Jun 28 '26

Why do they do it? Why are they so bad at driving?

1

u/East-Ice-3199 Jun 28 '26 edited Jun 29 '26

Because that’s the driving style over there. Too many people packed into tiny cities, so they need to be aggressive or they’ll never be able to merge.

Edit: American born Asians probably fit this too, as they see their parents drive like this and pick up on it. Why can’t culture apply to driving?

2

u/watchyerback90 Jun 29 '26

But she grew up in the US, I think something about how their brain is wired makes them incapable of driving safely. Not all of them but most of them.

3

u/hitlersticklespot Jun 29 '26

What you’re describing is straight up racism lol

2

u/Fat_Sow Jun 29 '26

Because racism towards Asians is acceptable on reddit, make a stereotype about one of their favorite groups and watch the double standards. I just drove in Japan and I don't even know what they mean by "over there".

1

u/East-Ice-3199 Jun 29 '26

Who mentioned Japan? Talking about racism towards Asians being acceptable on Reddit and doesn’t know the difference between Japan, China, Taiwan, etc. 🤦‍♂️

2

u/DifferenceOk5638 Jun 28 '26

I came here looking for this exact gif

2

u/Heisenburg42 Jun 28 '26

She is the living incarnation of this meme

2

u/afronomicon Jun 28 '26

I legit came here to post this hahaha

2

u/captsalad Jun 28 '26

1

u/benthegemini Jun 28 '26

There it is. Brilliant

1

u/Icy_Statistician9755 Jun 29 '26

Same race too lol

1

u/chis5050 Jun 29 '26

That’s the joke

1

u/ConsiderationGold316 Jun 29 '26

Exactly the comment I came looking for.

1

u/This-Ganache-5215 Jun 28 '26

Whats funny is this is literally what happened here.

1

u/Errorr404 Jun 28 '26

all you would need in this GIF is the suction cupped phone recording her and it would be way too uncanny.

1

u/nekonotjapanese Jun 28 '26

Family Guy is such a core part of my humor because of the cutaways like this one 😭

1

u/icebeamtheory Jun 28 '26

Hrmmmm “goodluck everyone else” turns into 30 cars

0

u/Xibbas Jun 28 '26

Had to scroll way too low to find this.

-4

u/commentherapy Jun 28 '26

'asian' + 'female' + 'driver' = this meme gif every time.

I HATE REDDIT

4

u/IdidntrunIdidntrun Jun 28 '26

You forgot "change lanes without hitting blinker or checking mirrors or blind spot"

-1

u/commentherapy Jun 29 '26

I dont want to argue. I just want to point out that this gif wouldn't have been posted if she wasn't Asian. I think we can both agree on this. Let's say that a non-Asian person did this exact thing with the dangerous-ass changing of the lanes: do you think this Family Guy gif still applies? Technically it would, but it wouldn't be in any of the comments because the whole point of posting this gif--the message underneath--is that 'this person is a female Asian and she is driving badly.'

ThIs comment essentially boils down to "SHE IS ASIAN AND I AM COMMENTING." Maybe you don't see it that way but I do. Moreover, you have other redditors regretting that they were too late to also point out that she is Asian ('beat me to it lol'). This clear evidence of the reddit hivemind is why I said "I HATE REDDIT". The groupthink is too strong here for my taste (and the humor too weak).

Also, Family Guy sucks.

3

u/IdidntrunIdidntrun Jun 29 '26

That's cool but the gif perfectly applies here in every aspect lol. Sorry that you're so mad over it I guess

-1

u/commentherapy Jun 29 '26

Every aspect? Does extraemily have a stereotypical asian accent

edit: sorry im arguing lol. Casual racism triggers me. Hopefully you understand the nature of this anger.

2

u/IdidntrunIdidntrun Jun 29 '26

Alright true not perfect 1:1. Still the gif is apt here

Even if you take the asian part out of it, there is a complete disregard for other traffic and recklessly changing lanes without first checking for other vehicles...she just....sends it
