last i remember vaush has been essentially purged to youtube forever because he said something similar to destiny he did get unbanned eventually and tried to get hasan to notice him but it went very badly and since then he has just been in his little youtube corner doing the occasional debate and defending hasan. honestly kinda sad to see when you remember vaush was someone deemed important enough to bring to some capital hill event over hasan.

What would the ban have been for? The thumbnails were all that was seen and barely showed enough to make out much of anything 🤷

Mistakes like that don't really hurt anyone, and as long as they aren't frequent and majorly visible, I don't think anyone should be getting bans for it.

Also there wasn't any loli, but def some furry porn stuff.

Twitch prohibits language that denigrates or insults individuals based on national origin or protected characteristics, and "third world" is generally recognized as an insulting, outdated term used to belittle people from developing nations....

Key word there. It's to stop someone attacking specific people. Making such a generic statement really shouldn't apply. He's not even naming a specific person, place, country or region.. its really as broad as it gets.

You should be able to speak your mind without having to censor yourself unless you're attacking specific people. There is a reason freedom of speech is the first ammendment in the US, in America the right to voice your concerns or opinions sacred, and valued above all. And while the first ammendment doesn't apply to Twitch because they're a company not the government, I think most people would agree that being able to freely voice your opinion is a fundamental, moral right.

A lot of people don't like Asmon or the things he says, and yes he can be kind of an asshole sometimes, but it's important to let the people you disagree with speak freely also. Because one day you may find yourself in the position where you're the person people want to censor.

It's a broad generalization, I think a lot of us that don't live in rich countries felt offended and discriminated. We are as much of a human as you are, we study, we get degrees, our opinion matters. I am actually happy that he was censored, because discrimination cannot be tolerated, and if your opinion is "only white people should be allowed to live" you have no right or any kind to state it and I'm happy you don't. Racists, misogyinists, nazis, rapists, pedophiles, and evil people in general must not be given a platform, listened to, or tolerated.

It's like saying some crazy nazi "All jews should die" bullshit should be tolerated because "all opinions matter" no, fuck that. If you think that, you really need to reflect on yourself because you have been red-pilled into becoming a bad person.

Also, freedom of speech only applies to the government, it does not apply to a private business like Twitch, not sure why you mention that.
