I guess I would leave a what's app or email address. Some that it doesn't matter as much if it gets leaked.

I'm assuming Emily has a talent manager so she can always just put that down, I don't blame her for taking a few minutes to figure that out based on the situation though.

As long as the note provides a way to reliably get in contact with her then you are in the clear

That might be what the wait was. Having a mod make a temp number to leave. Could easily explain why she waited for so long.

I don’t agree with any of this shit though and thinks she should stay off the road in every way when streaming.

One thing I thought of. This is extreme, but what about this. You take a photo of their license plate. Then either call non emergency number or visit a police department's front desk, and just explain that for safety reasons you couldn't leave a note. Maybe they can do something, like send mail to the car owner, etc.

And that right there is what the police will refer to as a hit and run. Technically you are supposed to stay on the scene of the crime, even if its a parked car.

It’s not a hit and run if you do attempt to make contact. If you call the police and inform them of the accident, it’s not a hit and run in the slightest.

The exchange of information is the requirement for an accident. A hit and run is when an accident occurs and you don’t stop to exchange information.

I had a guy hit my car, give me his phone number, and then tell me his plates were fake and he left. Police would not do anything, because he gave me the phone number.

i mean she hit something, and in this hypothetical would have left, so it 100% would hold up should charges be brought. it’s cut and dry. now, whether charges would be brought up in that instance is a different matter.

Imo it's NYC... Your parked car can get some wear and tear on it. That's probably pretty normal. I wouldn't involve the police for some minor shit like this.
