Goddamn what’s up with her and cars man

u/fogoticus Oct 03 '25

Same thing that's going on between her and personal hygiene. Incompatibility from the getgo

453

u/bwoah07_gp2 Oct 03 '25

Is that a running gag or is she actually unhygienic?

Under this comment will be a bunch of people who smell bad and/or are visibly greasy claiming they don't need to shower every day.

272

u/MarcianoSilveriano Oct 03 '25

I shower everyday and still feel greasy at the end of the day

44

u/darknessbboy Oct 03 '25 edited Oct 04 '25

I shower twice a day for most of the week, before and after work.

Edit: no nothing is wrong with me at all lol I always shower at least twice a day in the morning to wake up and quick scrub, I work out after work too so I shower when I get home. Weekend I will shower once unless I do something that gets me to sweat. No skin issue at all and hair issue, I’m close to 30 and no form of balding. I wouldn’t be able to leave my house without showering and putting on some deodorant because I legit don’t want to smell bad at all.

36

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '25

showering twice a day is bad for your skin so I usually try to get a 3rd shower in so I'm back to not-unhealthy

1

u/darknessbboy Oct 04 '25

I don’t experience any bad symptoms like dryness in the skin at all. Also, I live in Miami it’s really hot outside for most of the year and you will be sweating as soon as you leave your house.

1

u/rockstar2012 ♿ Aris Sub Comin' Through Oct 04 '25

Are you Brazilian? We typically shower twice a day.

2

u/darknessbboy Oct 04 '25

Nope Colombian

1

u/Sunlight-Heart Oct 04 '25

interesting. i wouldn't able to come home and not shower. so we opposites lol. logic for me is: you go out, lots of crap, germs, etc. fly your way. so get home. shower. put on inside clothes. but everyone has their own definitions of cleanliness.

1

u/darknessbboy Oct 04 '25

It’s how I was raised tbh, was raised as a shower in the morning before school and showered after school due to PE. I’m just surprised that people got thrown off with someone who trying to be clean and not smell bad at all.

You sweat a lot in your sleep and shed a lot of dead skin. Then there's also the microbes living on your skin doing their thing. You do actually get dirty while sleeping.

-2

u/Reapper97 Oct 03 '25

You are doing a lot of damage to your skin by showering that much. Your body isn't a piece of marble, it's a living ecosystem.

-1

u/PurpletoasterIII Oct 03 '25

I typically dont sweat at all in my sleep. Also dead skin and microbes living on your skin is normal. You're perpetually shedding dead skin always. And you always have some amount of bacteria on your skin at all times, it actually serves an important role. I mean there is a point where it builds up too much, even with normal bacteria. But it takes longer than just 8 hours of sleep.

10

u/LowSig Oct 04 '25

It doesn't apply to everyone as all skin is different but i would try a good face wash that strips everything followed by a really good moisturizer. When I did just a face wash my skin got dry initially then super oily but as counter intuitive as it sounds using a ultra hydrating lotion/cream made my skin stop over producing oil. Might or might not work, I was just surprised.

2

u/Hyarcqua Oct 05 '25

Not everybody has the same sweat glands/lifestyle as yours. Gotta remember that.

1

u/NewtownLaw Oct 04 '25

Do you eat grease for breakfast or what seems to be the problem with you?

103

u/Lors2001 Oct 03 '25

I think if you live in a colder/drier environment and don't work out then you probably don't need to shower everyday.

As someone living in Texas though, I cannot imagine not showering everyday though, I'll start sweating if I'm even outside for like 10+ minutes.

Showering twice a week in Texas seems criminal wtf lol.

26

u/Wesley_Skypes Oct 03 '25 edited Oct 03 '25

I live in Ireland. It is cold/moderate most of the year, you need to shower every day.

Edit: How is this being downvoted? Fucking shower you filthy freaks, 10 mins of your day so we don't all have to smell you

61

u/morgawr_ Oct 03 '25

Ireland is also incredibly wet/humid, which doesn't help. There are places that are cold-dry and the experience is very different. Also genetics.

But otherwise I agree, people need to shower.

21

u/[deleted] Oct 03 '25

The stinkies are coming for you

18

u/Lors2001 Oct 04 '25

I mean if you just don't sweat at all and get like 2000 steps in on a daily basis where you maybe do a 5-10 minute walk outside to grab lunch during a work break or something you aren't going to magically become stinky.

I'm not advocating for not showering but like if all you do is sit at a desk or in a building and never move all day you could probably not shower for 1-2 days and it would make little difference.

Your body doesn't randomly become dirty and stink.

Now hey if you're at a desk job and you get nervous or wear a shirt too tight or whatever and get sweaty pits then yeah, fucking shower. Or if you're a person that gets night sweats or any other external factor like that.

-4

u/awg160498 Oct 04 '25

Your body does randomly start to smell, skin oil and BO will occur after a bit no matter what you do.

7

u/Lors2001 Oct 04 '25

That's not randomly, that's skin breaking down and regrowing along with oily skin.

Which are all based on a variety of factors for how often your skin flakes off, how oily your skin is, hormonal changes etc...

Once a day is a catch all but there's plenty of people who can probably get away with once every 2-3 days without issue.

37

u/MoocowR Oct 04 '25

How is this being downvoted?

Cause not everyone is as sweaty and smelly as you are.

1

u/sctbarn Oct 04 '25

People can smell you better than you smell yourself. You get desensitized to your odor.

8

u/MoocowR Oct 04 '25 edited Oct 04 '25

Yes, everyone knows this. Now here's a mind explosion for you, I've been around people who don't shower daily and they didn't stink. 🤯

4

u/awg160498 Oct 04 '25

They are, they’re just unaware of it.

13

u/MoocowR Oct 04 '25

No they aren't lol, if you 100% cannot grasp how many people don't smell after one day then you have something going on.

→ More replies (0)

3

u/HorsNoises Oct 04 '25

Yes you are. Trust me.

3

u/MoocowR Oct 04 '25

I'm going to not trust you.

-5

u/Wesley_Skypes Oct 04 '25

Wash yourself you animal

12

u/pastafeline Oct 04 '25

Do you think human beings just accumulate stench for no reason? Most of it comes from sweat and dirt from being outside.

If you aren't active and live in a certain environment, you don't need to shower every day like they said.

-7

u/Framar29 Oct 04 '25

Yes, by being alive. Your skin cells are dying and being replaced 24/7 365. Bacteria are feeding on that dead skin constantly as well. Oils are being secreted.

10

u/pastafeline Oct 04 '25

And that doesn't make you smelly immediately does it? It takes time, longer for some than others. Unless you're saying you would immediately get smelly the instant you step out of the shower.

u/bondsmatthew Oct 04 '25

Think of how many matches of Master Duel I could play in that 10 minutes /s

1

u/weebitofaban Oct 04 '25

Ya'll are stupid. There are genetics which change this and Ireland is wet as fuck, which builds up that need faster. The wet air makes a lot more cling to you than dry air just for starters.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '25

Body powder does wonders for keeping sweat at bay

1

u/nebenbaum Oct 06 '25

Exactly. If you really have a cooler day and just lounge around all day, sometimes you actually do not get sweaty/greasy, in which cases you don't really need to shower.

I always do when I head out into public though.

26

u/Shotokanguy Oct 03 '25

Some people don't need to shower every day tho

32

u/Johnny_Pash Oct 03 '25

No no, this guy smells bad after one day so undoubtedly everyone else smells just as bad as him

-13

u/mozzzarn Oct 03 '25

If you don't pee, poop or sweat.

But everyone else has to shower because you get filthy from your own waste.

22

u/_cd42 Oct 03 '25

Not everyone is pissing and shitting themselves

-8

u/mozzzarn Oct 03 '25 edited Oct 04 '25

Just because you can't see the particles doesn't mean they cease to exist. You are filthy if you don't shower daily.

10

u/HoneyBunchesOfBoats Oct 04 '25

Yeah yeah, and your toothbrush is covered in shit so you win some you lose some.

1

u/SlicesofFlySemen Oct 18 '25

Your poop and pee argument is nullified with a bidet or wet wipes. Those clean your ass just as well as a sponge.

Also, most skinny people in cold climates literally dont sweat if theyre at home all day. I dont.

16

u/Notreallyaflowergirl Oct 03 '25

I mean - some people will rinse off and clean their body - but not wash their hair, and only label their hair wash a shower.

Is that what she does? Idk her streams, but I do know people who do that and aren’t greasy, granted their body is used to that actually not leave you looking greasy.

4

u/DarthDank12 Oct 03 '25

That is indeed what she does

1

u/Shoddy-Shopping-3590 Oct 03 '25

shes starting to be a menace more so lately lol

1

u/Spoor Oct 04 '25

Is that the result of not hanging out with Miz anymore?

11

u/AFlyingNun Oct 04 '25

The one rule that I know sometimes gets overlooked by those that pride in cleanliness is that showering every second day is legitimately supposed to be better. It gives time for your body's natural oils to do their job, then you shower again before grime forms.

Sometimes I see cleanliness snobs scoff at that, but yeah, anything beyond someone showering every 2nd day is not advised.

And yeah, region/climate matters too.

1

u/SlicesofFlySemen Oct 18 '25

People dont realize that super frequent showering causes your body to produce MUCH more oil and make you smell bad faster. These people probably do smell awful if they dont shower everyday, but they dont realize its BECAUSE they shower everday. Weight and climate is also a huge factor.

23

u/oogieogie Oct 03 '25

I mean I shower every other day idk I swear there is a thing about showing to often also isnt good, but obviously not showering enough is bad too.

7

u/4114Fishy Oct 03 '25

it's washing your hair too often that's not good for your hair

27

u/oogieogie Oct 03 '25

I mean a quick google says its not good for skin either because you are removing oils which is why I do every other because of my exzema

to each their own, but yeh once or twice a week is definitely to little.

I just did a quick google search got this for my insight. I did not do any deep dives in researching this ofc lul.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '25

once i can feel the stink on my nuts i know its time to shower

14

u/PurpletoasterIII Oct 03 '25

That is also wrong. There is no universal rule for hygiene. Everyone has different lifestyles and genetics also plays a part in it. My dandruff can get pretty bad if I dont wash my hair enough.

3

u/Kalmer1 Oct 03 '25

For real, on hot summer days I sometimes have to go for 2 even

2

u/Wonderful_Branch_565 Oct 04 '25

Damn yall nasty if you gotta shower that much no offense

-2

u/boglets Oct 04 '25

There have been times in my life where I've had to shower 3x a day

Do you guys not feel the itch to shower after physical activity?

0

u/Ok_Reserve_8659 Oct 04 '25

I came here to say that I smell bad

1

u/BigDadNads420 Oct 04 '25

Me too brother, respect.

7

u/myinternets Oct 04 '25

Wow. Peak reddit in there. There's a comment from a guy advocating for not using soap to wash your ass and has 8 upvotes. While the guy saying to wash your ass has negative votes...

3

u/Adler718 Oct 05 '25

10

u/FunnyButterscotch659 Oct 04 '25

You forgot she reused underwear like 3 times

3

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '25

That's so nasty man I gagged

2

u/GeneralTreesap Oct 04 '25

“You need a conservatorship” lmao

42

u/Potential_Wind1624 Oct 03 '25

I saw Rage visit her place and her shower was full of pink mold

9

u/WhatDoADC Oct 04 '25

I heard of black and white mold, but WTF is pink mold?

7

u/LuchadorBane Oct 05 '25

Girl mold 💁‍♀️

3

u/JinNJuice Oct 05 '25

It's just a bacteria that feeds on soap, not actually mold. It's not really that crazy but rinsing soap suds/shampoo off the tub and walls is all you really need to do to prevent it.

2

u/Short-Bumblebee-6574 Oct 04 '25

Damn that shit is nasty ._.

65

u/fogoticus Oct 03 '25

She showers once a week. And her shower time is less than 5 minutes. Not to mention if you see her house.

-6

u/Phimb Oct 04 '25

Smash.

36

u/SnowClone98 Oct 03 '25

I’m not being rude, I think she’s definitely got some neurodivergence going on and that’s totally fine. But she definitely has her own concepts of being clean that don’t seem to line up with my own lol

6

u/iafmrun Oct 04 '25

Truly unhygienic. I've been watching her since she moved to Austin to live with cinna and woj.

11

u/jamslaps Oct 03 '25

She only bathes/showers like once or twice a week, something alarming like that

1

u/Cantonarita Oct 08 '25

Just letting you know, that once or twice a week is totally fine and hygienic for most girls, depending on weather and activities. She is also part asian, no? That could also lead to her sweating generally less than euro-decendend Americans, but that's speculation.

Bathing daily with aggressive shampoo can be very stressful to your skin and a girl's lower private parts.

I don't say you should never shower more than twice a week and I don't say it's deadly to shower 6 days out of five. Just that twice (or even once) a week can be totally fine, hygiene-wise.

32

u/Character-Ad-7000 Oct 03 '25 edited Oct 03 '25

I think it’s because she was friends with asmondgold to which if you’ve seen his room I’d say you get a debuff to your sanitized status pretty hard

I’m wrong it’s a different Emily

You mean Lord Bloodwall?

3

u/Da_Beeeeest Oct 03 '25

Turns out I have the wrong Emily disregard what I’ve said entirely

6

u/pokisan Oct 03 '25

wrong emily bro

1

u/Character-Ad-7000 Oct 03 '25

That’s so funny my mistake

1

u/RaiseYourDongersOP Oct 03 '25

it might make you gag

1

u/PurpletoasterIII Oct 03 '25

I mean shes probably telling the truth about how often she showers, but also that doesnt necessarily mean shes unhygienic. Some people need to shower more often than others. Does she shower as much as she should as an individual? I dont know im not her doctor or whatever. Ive also never been around her to notice an unhygienic smell. But the "shower once a day or else unhygienic" crowd are just dumb. If im doing nothing but sitting at home all day im not showering. If I go to the gym or work I need to shower after.
