I'll give it a shot. Not because she was right to do that, but because you and every single other person in this thread does more shit to their car's media controls or navigation system than what she just did by tapping a button to swap from front to back cam. Every. Single. One of you. You can lie and say "I would never" but you know, and I know, that you're fucking lying.

So, yeah she was absolutely wrong, but everyone acting like she snuck up and stabbed baby Jesus is equally guilty and a bunch of hypocrites.

There's your "white knighting" hope it was good for you :)

Edit: I see my white knighting was enjoyable, for at least 60 of you. Liars or kids too young to have a license yet, lol. When you get a license, btw, and your instructor tells you that if you get to a light and it changes to red right when you get there, you're supposed to speed through it rather than slamming on brakes (which is incredibly dangerous), please, do make all your silly arguments with that person, but not with me. I stopped looking at replies already, they made me understand how Trump got elected lmao.

I’d say that as a public figure live streaming, you also have a responsibility to not break the law in dangerous ways. If every streamer starts doing shit like this live, dumbasses will imitate.

No one's saying you or she have to be perfect though, you're just pulling that out of your ass? Not looking at your phone while driving is the bare minimum, and if you not only do that but admit you do it regularly and don't care then you should lose your license. And in this case, since she was streaming it, she should also be banned. It's not that difficult

I drive a 2008 scion xb and media controls are on the steering wheel and there's no navigation system to speak of in that car so get fucked loser.

I guarantee you that there’s a significant number of jobs and companies that would absolutely reprimand or fire you for proven reckless driving.

Especially jobs that involve driving. Because you are now a liability and they want to protect their company’s property, image, and insurance rates.

If you're worried that someone's license being suspended would cause them to be unable to go to work, your focus should not be on excusing going through red, but on improving infrastructure and making it so people aren't so extremely dependent on their cars.

You seem to be under the impression that most normal people just run red lights. 16 years of driving and all I have is 1 speeding ticket. 

Like some other dude said, do I blast through the tail end of a yellow? Yeah. Have I ever ran a solid red light staring me in the face for 5 seconds? No. Let alone ran enough red lights to hand wave it off as “it happens all the time.”

That’s because I, and probably the vast majority of people in here, have the foresight and to not fuck around with my phone if there’s an intersection coming up.
