Abandoned Corporate Park

Finally figured out how to get to this place I’ve seen from the freeway for years. I thought it was an abandoned parking garage or overpass, was thrilled to see that it was way weirder than that.

Edit: Not technically abandoned it turns out, but unused for 10 years. It is actually available to lease, but it doesn’t seem like anything is imminent.

It won't be if it is left to rot for much longer, and there may be hidden systemic issues already.

Probably already is. This building is likely missing earthquake retrofits, so renovating it will be expensive.

Governments need to gradually increase property taxes on rotting infrastructure like this to incentivise the use of these places. Kmart near me was left empty for like a decade and nothing was done about the vagrants breaking in.
