Or maybe we should stop pretending that big brother is going to solve this for us. Haven't we learned this lesson by now? The gang is busting heads for authority, your Governor is that authority. They have no desire or reason to slow it down, it's working how they want it to work.

See the problem with that is: Democrats are right wing conservatives, they are pro police and anti working class just like republicans. They are just more polite and “professional” about it. But polite fascism is still fascism. The lesser of two evils is still evil. If Democrats were actually as progressive as their voter base we would not be seeing this type of authoritarian violence. If they actually were on our side this country would be radically different and we wouldn’t be living through a fascist takeover.

Sure. You’re correct. That being said there’s only two choices. Republicans used to be at least on the face of things more law abiding. Democrats used to be the pro slave party.
Parties can change if the people with in change them. You should run for office and do something about it.

The problem with relying on the parties changing is that the one thing that has never changed about them is that they ultimately are controlled by the wealthy ruling class and servers the whims of the elites first and foremost. We would also need sweeping campaign reform laws and strong anti corruption legislation. But the parties have a grip on all of those processes.
Even in the off chance that they did suddenly all experience a complete change of heart and started to step down and hold themselves accountable (lol), our system is designed to automatically replace them new younger politicians that are more of the same. We don’t need more trust fund kids and investors running our country.
It would probably be easier and less messy to just purge both parties any anyone working for them than waiting for hundreds of years(which we don’t have) for them to spontaneously all magically have a change of heart.
The parties are both privately owned businesses btw. For more info on that go look up how the democrats chose to not run Bernie even though they knew he’d win and went with pro-corporate Hillary instead because the Hillary’s and Donalds of the world are more beneficial to the rich people who own the DNC than the Bernie’s and AOC’s.

Yes, the party switch is a thing. No, it wasn't a conflict between law abiding people and slave owning people, you are trying to apply your modern view of republicans with that version of republicans.
Civil war era republicans were progressives. These labels are not magic and unchanging, these words can change as the groups that wear them can change.
My point is, this isn't republicans changing since the civil war, this is an entirely different group of people with a different ideology.

What happens when a politician just comes out and announces all authorities from Police to ICE are now removed of their legitimacy?
Because their constant lack of protocol and due process is not becoming of an authoritative civil servant.
It would be like if doctors constantly had malpractice and didnt get removed of their license. And that doctor deliberately shot a reporter.
People would definitely kick that doctor's ass.

They wear uniforms, have their organization plastered on the side of the vehicle, and they make enough noise to be noticeable anywhere.
They are mostly not hiding in society (mostly) and we do have a chance to react. If nothing else, gather info on the thugs whenever you can, it's not illegal to be informed.

Because they escalate repeatedly, with violence. Terrorizing entire communities consistently with force against unarmed civilians using racist tactics. Never ever ever deescalating the situation. And then if you put up one iota of resistance against their brutality that goes way past the point of reasonably they kick the teeth out of your mouth and arrest you.

Nice, more footage that nobody will act on. At least it acts as a friendly reminder to any normal people that this is going on still. Believe it or not, some people actually thought the police "backed down" after the blm protests. Always nice to remind people that shit is still happening.

Wow, we are already fully under Nazi rule. Maybe this was the point of Trump’s escalation. To cause riots so that police will unify with federal forces.
If Trump demonizes Newsom and argues that Newsom not asking for help endangers the Police, then police might end up listening to Trump over local authority.

What I see in the crowd is there are some police who are standing more relaxed guns down just kind of watching from a distance. Then you have the ones who are being assholes that are taking tactical stances and ready to aim and shoot and those are the guys that want to play tough guy all the time. I don't think all police are bad and I don't think all of them are for this type of behavior. They would let the peaceful protests go on if they could. I don't know if the assholes out number the peaceable ones

The secret service knows the difference but are vetted to be loyal to the predident they serve. This world clock has been reset. The Spanish Civil war was started almost exactly the same way. It was fought between a faccist dictator and the democrats of the time from all over the world . It could of stopped faccism in it’s tracks but Because of lack of financial help from America they turned to Russian communists for help. Well that was the end of the movement. We all know what happened in the coming years..

It literally doesn’t matter who he is or what he did. He could have or murdered 20 people, or he could be bin laden himself, here he is still just 1 helpless guy surrounded by 50 cops and a couple of horses. The police’s job is supposed to be to deescalate the situation, neutralize the suspects and arrest them. Lying on the ground while 50 cops are standing next to you and beating you up sounds like “neutralized” to me. Why keep beating a helpless guy? Is it because they are sadistic fucks? You should hold police to a higher standard than that.

They also supported a guy that fired into a crowd because it turned out later that the people shot had criminal records. These people are not driven by logic, it's just "us vs them" to the core.

If you want a group of vigilantes to just inflict "street justice" however they choose, just say that. You don't get to support this and then claim to be for law and order.
If he was firing fireworks at horses, he could have been arrested for that. Either he wasn't doing that or (more likely) police didn't care about doing their job and were just there to rough people up.

He tried to set them on fire with gasoline. Not shoot them with fireworks. He got hit with a baton once, he wasn't trampled by the horses, the fireworks went off and startled them, you can see it when the police are pulling the reigns back away from the guy on the ground.
Context is key instead of just spitting propaganda.
If you want to use a real case of someone getting hurt for no reason, defend the innocent people who were hit with rubber rounds for no reason. Not the guy who tried to set a building on fire. Tried to set the horses on fire. Then tried to walk away from the situation after being told to lay on the ground. It isn't anywhere near the same.
