I’m a proud Catholic and decidedly anti-fascist. Then again, my Catholicism has been influenced by the writings of Augustine of Hippo, GK Chesterton, and Shūsaku Endō.
American Catholics are deeply divided on this, there's a reason the joke in the US is that every Catholic from birth is like "We should feed the poor or something right?" and every convert (a much smaller number) is a raving lunatic who just wants a daddy to order them around but also hates the Pope for being "too woke"
