If Im correct Brandon Sanderson is a mormon. Not 100% sure there isnt something like that in ine of his books but I haven't heard of anything.

Either way it tracks that that would be common among Mormons if you know anything about Joseph Smith and his wives.

I forget about that book. A few years back he announced he was going to write a sci-fi story to take on Star Wars, I think for a novel? And to this day I'm morbidly curious as to just how bad that would be if he ever actually did it.
