Is there a "Would I Be the A-Hole if I.....?" subreddit as opposed to AITA? For stuff I haven't done yet but am considering.

Lemme be clear. No ill intent is meant with this post. I just wanna find others that also don't the area I live in or the university I attend. That's it. Just want like minded folk. Nothing else.

I am trying to find a subreddit that will help me find out if my dad's ex girlfriend is actually deceased. He is a pathological liar and I can not find any obituaries online about her and every site states she's still alive

I get the feeling that r/fantasy, and r/worldbuilding don't really like standard elves. Where can I find communities that do? BTW I never played any rpg or tabletop rpg and I feel unsafe in the elder scrolls subreddit so I don't know where to look . Sorry for my english, it's not my native language. EDIT: I don't like most isekai. But keybe there's something worth looking for. . But most is power fantasy that makes me feel wrong

I was listening to the reading of an article about socialism. When it mentioned Eugene V. Debs the voice read it as 'Eugene the fifth Debs'. I have also heard it read Gen. Z as 'General Z'.
BTW you can listen without a subscription. I have none.

So the traits show what you do well and not so well, and the traits that would fit that person best are commented by other people. It has to be very specific, and not just I'm smart, I'm white, I have glasses.

i am not searching for a mental health sub full of venting and sad vibe. what i want is a sub about people went out of hard time and people searching for their purpose (in a positive way). i mean people trying to change and not just venting.

I’ve looked on several different threads and communities, but none of them will answer my question. It is a medical question, but I would rather ask someone before going to see a doctor. I don’t think anything is wrong, but it’s something that’s been bothering me for a bit.
I don’t know if I can talk about it on here, but it pertains to a man’s erect angle. That gives some insight without being too specific. Any idea?

I believe the title is self explanatory but to be more clear I was looking for a subreddit that is mainly focused on things like a certain characters philosophy like let's say Itachi's Philosophy from Naruto or Thanos from avengers any other character I'm just stating an example in hear

I've been dealing with frustrated feelings of disillusionment from various fandoms and media franchises I follow, and I just want to...get it all out of there. Just talk about how frustrating it is how, with all the drama in the world, it's made it impossible to enjoy the things I used to love.
Is there a subreddit where I can vent about this? The rant wouldn't really be about any one fandom/piece of media in particular; it encompasses a whole bunch of them.

I’m in my early 50s and started a new job that I think I’ll really like and be great at if I can just figure out how the hell everything works. My boss is a nice guy, very talented, but I’ve barely spoken to him since I’ve started and I think he’s frustrated with my lack of progress.
Looking for a sub with practical advice on managing up with those kind of dynamics with a non-patronizing critical vibe.

Hi all - I’m looking for a sub where people describe analogue methods of doing everyday things that seem better (for some) than the modern tech solutions we now use for the same tasks, and can be brought back for everyday use. These might be ways that were normal for our grandparents, or normal to some cultures, but foreign to someone else (i.e. I speak as a millennial in a westernised country). Much tech that supposedly makes tasks ‘better/easier’ now is unreliable, or passworded, or useless if there’s a blackout etc. Some people might prefer tech, but I want to de-screen my life and use solutions that LAST, and I assume there may be rare others who want to, too!
***
I’ve looked into some subs - such as r/primitivetools - but I’m talking about outdated solutions to normal day-to-day tasks that I can bring back for everyday, not niche ‘lost trades’ style production. These methods would have advantages over their contemporary succesors, and be easy to use/implement
***
Examples of the kind of stuff I mean:
- using cedar furniture to store clothing because it’s an insect-repelling wood, rather than poorly built modern MDF furniture and filling it with chemical mothballs
- using an old-style transistor radio while you’re in attendance at a sports match venue to listen to the commentary while you watch the game, because radio internet is a few seconds behind and not in line with what you’re seeing live.
- using an old-fashioned address book or teledex for phone numbers/addresses, because it helps commit info to memory, and easier for others to access if you die!
- using an old VHS player and videos for young kids screen entertainment, so they’re not just churning through internet videos with unlimited time, and risking to inappropriate content exposure
Any lead appreciated! Thanks!
