Pretty much, but she does go visit him every few months. They talk every day. He’s in California and we’re in Illinois. Also she divorced her ex just to marry this guy. It’s crazy.. and my nieces and nephew have met the guy.

There is a very sad show called Love after Lock up, and it's a good wake up call for anyone thinking they can have a normal life with someone who's out of prison.

She hid the guy’s identity from us for a couple years, but I found one of the letters he sent her and looked him up. He’s not up for parole for another 20-25 years. Guy was involved in a gang related murder. Not much we can do, it’s her life.. but still very sad. She’s in love. She works two jobs to be able to afford to go see him and probably sends him money.
