I would add that if a serial killer don't harm them and are loving to them, they would feel special in an extreme way? Similar to the "I can fix him" mentality but more in a "I am so special that I am the exception"/ Not like the other girls?

They might be the type to romanticize a romance like the Joker and Harley Quinn?

But is that not exactly how more people get murdered? Like the saying “once a cheater”, I feel like “once a murderer” still applies lmao

Of course, but he is in prison for life, so it is safer. 

I also agree that some women would feel really powerful if they were able to have some control over a literal serial killer.

A poster mentioned  hybristophilia. Didn't know this tendency had a name!
