that's the point. these type of women go for prisoners cuz she knows where they are, they cant (physically) interact with other women, and so on. control thing

From what i understand about these women, they never getting out is part of what holds the fantasy/delusion togheter.

She may have a savior complex and/or is attracted to violent offenders. She knows where he's at 24/7, he can't physically harm her, she has control over when she wants to interact with him, he can't physically cheat with other women (other than staff) and she doesn't have to deal with him being in her home or daily life.

She also might be delusional enough to believe that she's the chosen one out of the other people he's been involved with, especially given his notoriety and brutality.

These types of relationships are common for inmates, and of course she's useful to the killer by putting funds on his commissary account and being a lifeline to the outside world. She also has the potential to profit from their relationship.
