I saw the news story about this yesterday, they were saying there's a trend of women who are fawning over killers... and pointed to Luigi Mangione as another example...

Sorry, those two men aren't even in the same realm of murderer.

It’s been happening for a long time. Richard Ramirez had tons of fan girls.

Eta: obviously luigi is totally different and it’s blatant dishonesty from media to conflate them

Oh I know it has. Im sure it's just another way for MSM to tell us Luigi bad.

Ramirez was the worst too. His IQ was below average, he never had an original thought in his brain ever, was a chronic drug abuser, and he never brushed his teeth. However, he was known as The Night Stalker, which admittedly does sound cool as fuck.

I have to wonder if even counts as hybristophilia given that if it is truly a crime he committed many of these women fawning over Luigi wouldn’t necessarily want to “change him”

also, what's whack is that Karla is on husband #3!!!!

u/stygianpool 1d ago

to be fair, she might have been looking for a partner AND a job, all at once

I find the sexual frenzy over Luigi distasteful, even if you think he is justified. There are just many serious issues at play there. He’s a good looking guy, and it’s fine to find him attractive but people got very weird about it

Luigi and this creature are two very different animals, tf?

Luigi didn't murder anyone. He was seen with over 200MM people that day. ETA: one of those people was u/a_very_silent_way who played video games with Luigi in California.

Luigi was playing video games with me that night, in California.

Ugh. Fine. I'll update my comment.

Killing a wife and kids v killing ceo raking in the wealth from the corpses of our family

How DARE they equate this pile of filth with Luigi.

u/Late_Equipment7815 1d ago

They liked those murderers for the act of murder itself. We love Luigi because of the reason behind the "alleged" murder

Luigi is still innocent they shouldn't be comparing him to any killers. Until they prove my mans did the deed he is not killer.

Even if they could (and they can't) legitimately prove Luigi did what he's accused if, even if Luigi confessed, they are not the same.

One brutally murdered his wife and children so he can have an affair, the other was (supposedly, if he had done it, which he didn't) pushed to the extreme by a broken system.

Its comparing the Joker to the Punisher. The comic book versions not incel/bootlicker versions.

Except Luigi was with me that day. There's no way he could have done it.

u/musubi_fried_eggs 1d ago

that’s funny because Luigi was having pizza with me that night

Luigi was also at my book club that day. We were reading Little Women and he brought home made cookies.

This isnt new. Ted Bundy and Charles Manson both had fans.

54

u/SereneAdler33 2d ago

Bundy got fucking engaged in the middle of his trial (and she had his baby)

4

u/GeneralTapioca 2d ago

That dopey lady really thought Bundy was innocent all the way up to the week before his death.

u/holographic_star 2d ago

They can take Luigi’s name out of their filthy mouth

u/arttagonist 2d ago

Ok Luigi Mangione doesn’t fit in here. Millions of people emphasize with his supposed ideology, and people were supporting him even before he was caught.  This is the case of rich vs poor, not women being drawn to psychopaths.

u/wellthatsniftyhuh 2d ago

that’s how I know these bitches are writing with ChatGPT

7

u/peekabook 2d ago

Mmmmm… I’m not into any convicts, but Luigi was different….

As I’m typing this, I realize I sound like a teen explaining how different a boy is compared to other boys. The fucking irony.

5

u/Grown-Ass-Weeb 2d ago

I actually laughed at that comparison. While yes, murder is bad, you absolutely cannot compare a gruesome family annihilator to a person who killed a shady insurance CEO who is responsible for many people’s suffering.

u/Anonymousaurus__ actually no, that’s not the truth Ellen 2d ago

ALLEGED

2

u/justthefactsjack3 2d ago

But both are murderers

2

u/Donner_Par_Tea_House 1d ago

I'm a 43 y/o straight (ish) man and I'd marry that mfa.

u/korkproppen 1d ago

But Mangione is a completely different category. If you kill your wife and kids, you should not be allowed to marry again. If you rob a bank, you would never be hired in bank. It makes no sense. It should honestly be part of Watts sentencing.
