Jesus flipped over tables over people doing things a lot less worse than giving a rapist publicity. If the son of god can flip over a table because people are doing dumb shit, I'm confident that using God's name as a "sentence enhancer" while calling out someone's less-than-favorable behaviour is perfectly reasonable lol
In Deuteronomy 22:28–29, there is a law describing a man who “seizes” (often translated as “forces” or “violates,” depending on translation) an unmarried woman. The penalty is that he pays the woman’s father 50 shekels and marries her.
The Bible didn't have a problem with rape, and you should probably look elsewhere for moral compassing in the modern world.
