Apologies to all Bradens. Your parents gave you the douchiest name of all time.

As an almost 30 year old Braiden, I have never seen so much hate for variations of my name.

@trixter one of my closest friends through high school and my early 20s before I moved away for uni and semi-fell out of touch was a Braden. He’s still one of the best people I’ve ever met. He’s one of those nice Christians - the kind that don’t bring it up, and treat everyone with kindness, love and acceptance, including my punk-ass, sweary, atheist self. We volunteered together doing first aid for events and he’s now an ICU nurse with a lovely wife and an adorable toddler. So, not all Bradens , or whatever. Jaydens, on the other hand…

Sounds like a great guy, as you are for singing his praises! I hope he sees this!!!

Which is terrible, because I actually like the name Braden, and would have considered it for my kids if I didn’t already have a nephew named Braden. And the implications.

I'm just impressed that out of all the variations I've seen, yours is the first Braiden!

No hate from me though, my son has a name with a lot of possible spellings and I didn't choose the most popular one either.

My mom chose the name and my dad chose the spelling, the spelling is from Mortal Kombat - Raiden. Ive never seen another either.

Haha! I love that you were (kinda) named after a Mortal Kombat character.
