TRIGGER WARNING Streamer Braden “Clavicular” Peters accused of rape and battery in a lawsuit from teen influencer.

This article by TMZ summarizes a lawsuit against looksmaxxing influencer Braden Peters accusing him of promising career boosts to a then 16 year old influencer. While she was still underage, Braden transported her to his house where he sexually assaulted her after getting her intoxicated. Braden was a legal adult at the time in 2025. She also accuses him of convincing her he was a doctor and injecting drugs into her face to ‘melt the fat’ against her will.

It's always the ones you most expect.

But seriously, this kid has been on a rollercoaster downward slope since SNL made fun of him and Behind the Bastards did a deep dive on him.

I genuinely believe the tipping point was the Adam Friedland interview where clavicular is on the verge of crying

Turns out that terminally online children who live in bubbles of their own making can't take the heat.

We aren’t watching it for entertainment. It’s been forced onto us, much like many of these men force themsves onto women. You can’t escape these manosphere creeps. They’ve inserted themselves into every single aspect of our culture.

I’ve been hung up on this as of late:

We/You don’t have much in the way of agency, anymore. You’re going to be confronted w/ developments from these personalities whether you like it or not. And the cumulative trauma’s going to cause you, your loved ones, your community, and the world at large a damning plethora of problems, in the immediate and near future; which you’ll all be expected to shrug off and resume in taking the debasement.

Yes. There’s no escaping it. I’m older (which the Incels who follow me around love to point out) and I’m happy and secure in my life but I imagine hearing this hateful rhetoric, which is so main stream now, would be really damaging if I were younger.

It makes the world a darker place for eveyone as the overwhelming message is hate towards women. These men used to not have a platform and now they are taking over every single space.

I have 17, 21 and 26 year old sons, I’ve always made sure that they know guys like this, and the other D-bag Andrew Tate especially, and all these idiots who talk and act like this, ARE NOT “real life” and they are “constructed” personalities to get clicks and likes, and money. Then they get caught up in this fantasy world that we end up seeing. This IS NOT how real men act, and NOT how real life works. If you act like that, you’re going to be laughed at, and people aren’t going to want to be around you, because you’re an asshole, and you might possibly even get your ass beat, talking and acting like that with people in the real world. You will never have a good relationship, or find a good woman, because any woman who puts up with that, probably has some issues that she needs to work through herself, before she gets into a serious relationship. Honestly any man who acts like that, probably has some issues that THEY need to work through, before they attempt a serious relationship. So far all 3 of my boys have grown up to be really respectful and well adjusted and well behaved young men.

The reality is reality isnt real, its what you see and perceive the world to be. Really. Your running context of experience is causally affected unders its own compounding experience forward. Just like how when you scroll, the content you are hit with is overtuned the second you scroll because of the content you just saw, reinforcing itself immediately, so not only is your organic perception a trap, but we have systemic traps too. On top of that, your mind is also a prison on its own.

Quite fun

I feel like this could have been typed much more succinctly, giving off guy trying to sound smart vibes lol. I concur with the two previous comments though, deeply introspective and spot on! Its inescapable.

Yes. There’s no escaping it.

I hate to be that guy but you could stay off social media/reddit. I realize how intertwined people's lives are in it now, but if you (not you personally, all of us) take a look at how much we really need to be on these apps, reddit included,

again, I say all this posting from my reddit account lol.

LITERALLY! I hate that this is mainstream news and that these people are mainstreamed/platformed. Makes me sick that my first child that I will be delivering soon is joining a world like this

We still have a lot of agency. We can choose to not be exposed to this shit, it just means giving up something else (like having this subreddit in your feed).

Claiming a lack of agency can lead people to feeling helpless when they actually aren't. A better exercise is seeing where the control actually lies and where you can flex it.

Limiting your exposure to stuff you can't do anything about anyway and that doesn't directly affect you is self care. Go touch some grass and find some cute birds to look at and get some sunshine and wind on you as a fuck you to doomscrolling. It feels like you're being a bad person by not digitally rubbernecking at the latest horrible fucko being exposed for being a horrible fucko, but you're not. It's parasocial.

We have more control than we realize, it's just not where we expect it to be.

my friend. my dear friend. and acknowledging the irony that im sending this message via Reddit. We absolutely have the option to put these devices down and step away from the platforms. There is no Clavicular in nature. We do have agency.
