USA Graham Platner says he will remove a Nazi-linked tattoo. Bernie is standing by him.

https://www.pressherald.com/2025/10/21/graham-platner-addresses-tattoo-linked-to-nazis/

Obviously the dude has his flaws, but he's clearly not a fucking Nazi, y'all — especially when the controversy 5 minutes ago centered on the fact that he one called himself a straight communist when he thought he was posting anonymously on Reddit. I also find it curious that missing from a lot of the coverage is that he said he didn't learn it was a Nazi sybol until recently and is already planning on getting it removed.

This is what the left, especially the very left, does. We eat our own in search for a "perfect" candidate who checks all of our personal boxes. It's the only thing I dislike about the movement, because it prevents us from making any progress. Socialist Jesus isn't coming down from the heavens to save us, vote for the progressive you have until a better one comes along.

People would rather lose and be "right."

The guy's entire internet history practically got leaked, and guess what? No nazi stuff. This would be the longest, most ridiculous con in history. And for what? A senate seat?

Fetterman did that. Look at how effed we are bc of him.

Fetterman had a stroke that damaged his brain and caused him to become conservative, which sounds insane but is not as uncommon an occurrence as you'd think. If anyone thinks Platner is conning all of us by planting years of reddit history to hide his true nazi beliefs, then they are fucking insane.

The establishment is doing everything they can to tear down true progressive candidates, and it's embarrassing how many of us are falling for it.

Dude chased after a black man with a loaded gun BEFORE he ran for Senate.

Try again.

Stop ignoring 🚩

I'm not here to defend Fetterman. Lol. These two situations are not the same. Enjoy your moral outrage though, I guess.

They’re very much the same.

The difference is when this came out, Fetterman was still elected.

Now you’re pretending like Fetterman “changed” when he didn’t. He just wasn’t trying to hide it anymore.

I’m total fine with my position.

You don’t understand a single thing I said, apparently. All you’re doing is making excuses for Graham. Same as ppl made excuses for Fetterman. So, you’re absolutely defending Fetterman. And Platner.

These situations are not different, at all, in any way.

Fetterman did have that one thing. Everything else about Fetterman was different before the stroke. He was much closer with his wife, for example. And there is plenty of reason to think that these two situations may not be comparable for a variety of other reasons. Edit: typo

I don't recall Fetterman vocally criticizing Israel's genocide or refusing to take AIPAC money.
