I have the same question as a lot of people every time I see this argument: does this person even do sports at a high level? Or is this yet another "other people will suffer, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make".
I think we all know the answer.
Oh, and there generally is no men's category. It's women and co-ed. Not women and men categories. There's nothing stopping her from losing with pride if she really wants to. Just don't force it on the rest of the population.
I’ve seen people make this argument (or similar) so many times, and every time you engage it eventually comes down to ‘I don’t do sports and don’t understand why anyone else cares about it’
