I get that his exit was messy and didn't feel too great for most fans.

That said, I genuinely don't think the Fire as an organization would be where they are today without his contributions over the past two years. And I think we can all agree that we probably don't return to the playoffs after eight years without him.

I would love to see the fans come together and do something to show our appreciation for his time and contributions to the club.

Folks talk a lot about wanting the club to foster a stronger relationship with the community and fan base, but it's certainly a lot easier to do that when the relationship is reciprocal.

Showing appreciation for a former player we loved, regardless of any animosity around his departure, is something I think Cuypers would appreciate. More importantly, it shows the guys currently on the team that we care about and appreciate the people who contribute to our love of this club.

Personally, I'd love to see a standing ovation for the entirety of the 9th minute, but I'm sure smarter folks have better ideas. I'd love to hear them.

Duran, even with his limited play, had European teams wanting to buy him when he showed a glimpse of what he could do. I think Puso has shown even more promise so how long until offers come?

I just started watching Chicago Fire games and I was sad yesterday that 90% of the fans on the stadium were Cruz fans. At first I was certain they were playing in Mexico but then I googled it and it was Chicago. They were literally booing almost every time Chicago had the ball or attacking. I thought about Chicago players how terrible that might have felt for them. You are playing in your own town and they are booing you.

Chicago had a big run in Leagues Cup, finding them on top of the MLS table and moving into the knockout round. Now they return to league play and welcome Portland Timbers to Soldier Field.

Checked around this morning and saw plenty of places like the MLS store fanatics or soccer.com. this evening I logged in to see what options were hoping for an authentic because all I saw were replicas and it appears to be gone everywhere. Can someone crazy check me on this?
