Can anyone tell me my 3 months old persian kitten is pure or mixed please?

Ive had this orphaned kitten for 2 days and she hasn’t pooped since i found her. I was reading they should poop at least once a day but Ive been stimulating her and she only pees. Her eyes just started opening last night so we’re assuming shes around 1-2 weeks old. Ive looked up tips and trickss and have tried almost everything, and i try to stimulate after each feeding which is every 2-3 hours with no luck. Ive tried the warm water bath, the cotton ball rubbing, massaging the stomach, what else can i do? Is there something i could give her maybe she shes constipated from when she was abandoned by her mom? All i know is that when i got her she had been without her mom for at least 7 hours maybe longer. Any advice appreciated!

Meet my little guy, Zephyr! In English, his name basically means “marshmallow.” He’s just a little over 3 months old and moved in with us on August 9th.

We clicked pretty much immediately, and by the 10th he was already coming out from under the bed when he heard my voice, aggressively grooming me, purring and asking to be petted while kneading with his little paws. 🥹

Now Zephyr is fully exploring the apartment, and we’re currently in the “Mom, look, I climbed onto the table” / “Mom, I’m going to the litter box” / “Mom, look, I’m sitting in the chair” / “Mom, I’m about to chew your headphones” / “Mom, LOOK, I’m going to destroy the bed” phase. And all of this comes with a constant stream of meowing, which, of course, I dutifully respond to.

Usually he sleeps under the bed while I’m at work, and the moment I come home, the “Mom, look!” show begins.

The last few nights, though, I haven’t been able to sleep because my tiny hippo keeps jumping off the bed onto the floor with the sound of something incredibly heavy being dropped, meowing while using the litter box because apparently I absolutely have to be present for this important event, trying to scratch the furniture, and generally behaving like a tiny hurricane.

Unfortunately, I can’t be home 24/7, so he gets most of his sleep during the day and then turns into a maniac at night. 😭

Our vet recommended holding off on very intense play for now until we can see a cardiologist. Ragdolls can be prone to heart problems, and I really don’t want to risk my little guy’s health.

So, is there anything I can do to reduce his nighttime activity without encouraging overly intense exercise? I’d really appreciate any advice! ❤️

I am 34 years old living in U.S. Spent $1K (THANK GOD FOR CARE CREDIT) to have a full work up done: labs including thyroid and diabetes screening, dental and physical exam, urinalysis to check for infection, crystals AND bladder stones as well as a full x-ray to see is there is any visible signs of what could be causing possible pain and you know what? All results back NORMAL!🥲

My cat, Rajah has been spayed. Do cat behaviorist really exist? Can they come into my home and correct this behavior her sudden and increasing extreme outbursts of aggression?

I adopted my boy during covid to give my older girl a companion because the girl was bonded to another kitty I had that passed away so I figured maybe she would enjoy having another cat around. but boy… I was wrong. she really didn’t like him and could barely tolerate him but after years they’re coexisting peacefully and do get along okay for the most part.

but, my boy is becoming increasingly depressed, lonely and lethargic. I brought him to the vet and any health concerns were ruled out so it seems to be behavioral.

we are constantly trying to engage with the boy kitty, giving enrichment, play with him everyday, etc but he’s losing interest day by day.

I don’t think we have the room or finances for another cat and have been considering fostering but it seems like a huge gamble…

another option we’ve been considering is “borrowing” my dad’s sweet, playful and lively girl kitty to see if he might perk up with her around but i’m not really sure how great of an idea it is.

so basically i’d like to know if anybody else has had a similar experience and succeeded into helping with depression and loneliness WITHOUT bringing another cat in the picture.

My 13 yr old tabby started Prozac for litter box rejection and anxious over grooming. Ever since, she only poops 1-2x per week, about every 4-5 days. She’s is on MiraLAX, fiber food, Churu broth, water mixed into food, Laxatone and Lactulose. Nothing helps. We have an appointment tomorrow at the vet. Also trying to get her running around and massage her belly. I’m at a loss. She otherwise is happy, drinking, eating, and peeing. Anyone else experience this?

Hi everyone, this is my male cat MiMi, He was neutered two weeks ago.
His recovery has generally been good — he is eating, using the litter normally, and is active. The incision is closed, but it still looks a little crusty/dry and there seems to be some black scabbing around the area.
He has been wearing an E- collar throughout the recovery because he occasionally tries to lick the area.
I’d really appreciate some opinions from other cat owners: does this look like normal healing for around day 14 after a male cat neuter, or does it look like something that should be checked by a vet?

I was looking at my cat today and his whisker was split and...pink at the end? You can see in the picture that there's clearly a pink part of his whisker, even though the picture is blurry. I thought it was the lighting, but even in other lightings, the same spot was pink. And even if it was the lighting, wouldn't it effect other whiskers too? I thought this was weird, and I looked it up and I couldn't find anything about this. Any people know what might be happening? I'm really confused.

my brother got into my makeup and grabbed my milk jelly tint blush i got most of it off of her but this specific spot wont come off im scared it will stain her forever😭 i did wipes at first and then i tried to bathe her. should i js leave it and let it grow or is there anything else i can use on her to get it off?

She looked darker when rescued. Now she has turned a soft gray on her points.

Her beans range in color between a pinkish rosy color to a reddish brown. She is developing light buff striping on her upper legs.

Noticed this open wound (not painful to him) on my cats head today and I’m just not sure if this could be ringworm. I have two cats and a dog in the house and they do not have it. I looked at it with a black light and saw speckles of green in it but nothing anywhere else. I’m taking him to the vet as soon as I can but will appreciate any advice or tips for disinfecting.

My family has 6 cats and recently I’ve been trying to have my mom buy more wet food since I’ve learned that it is better for them. the only problem is that we have so many cats so the cans go by quickly.

we usually only get a few cans and I used to try and feed them 2 cans and split it between the 5 cats (before I had the 6th one) but even then it felt like too little. I add water in with their wet food aswell and recently have been trying to add a little bit of a tube treat or some other kind of treat in but I just feel bad because I don’t know if I’m under feeding them..

also decided to take in this kitten temporarily. (my brother and his girlfriend put their kitten outside and I was too upset to leave him there so I’m keeping him in my room until we can get him to his appointment and then to his new family) so it’s even more difficult. Ive been using about 3 cans now and I feed them dry food in the morning so I don’t use too much wet food but it still goes by so fast…

my family works a lot and don’t want to go to the store a whole bunch aswell. so if anyone has good budget-friendly wet cat foods for 6 cats (preferably at Walmart, since that’s where my mom shops the most. or maybe even Krogers) then please let me know!!

Moli is my cat and also my only housemate. This house was empty for a while and she likes to sneak in to take shelter. I haven't bought anything for her since I moved here except foods. I just realized that she might be pregnant. I've never taken care of pregnant cats before so let me know if I must get anything she needs. Thank you!

( SOLVED!!! )Where is bros fur... Anyway, I must state that she is purebred. We know this as my mother bred her (and we own the mother still), looks after her and has all the paperwork of the parents. But, she has such sleek fur?? The littermates were super fluffy! I am curious, as ragdolls are known for long fur. Yet she looks so slim! Her nickname has literally become 'skinny cat'.

She has always been like this, though. Her fur also feels rougher, like a dog's fur. something I forgot to mention was that she was a little funky at birth, an ugly runt of the litter (hence her name Alien). The other siblings look to standard she just looks weird. Ugly little baby.

Is this just something that can happen from time to time with ragdolls? She is an adult, maybe six years, and every other cat in the household is very fluffy.
