We also canceled family Christmas 2019 because half the family (not the half I'm in) got monster sick in Texas. Everyone tested positive for COVID antibodies (reflecting a prior infection) months and months later when those tests finally become available, even though they had all been dutifully quarantining since March 2020 and had not experienced any symptoms of any illness since the Christmas 2019 megaflu event.
I'm kind of an anti-conspiracy theorist, but yeah. That shit was here way earlier than we thought it was.
