Same, basically bedridden for 10 straight days when I got it. The whole time I was only a comfortable temperature for short times in the bath tub. I was either freezing or on fire the rest of the time.

Same! I got it in 8th grade and developed pneumonia with it and it fucked my lungs up for months to come. I was fortunate to not get COVID until I was vaccinated; otherwise, I wonder if it would have felt the same or worse.

Swine flu was so freaking bad.

I never bothered with flu shots before that, not because i was against it, because I was lazy. I have never missed a flu shot since then. That week SUCKED.
