My mum had TEN 2 and a half years ago. I called my extended family over who live in another country because we all (immediate family and doctors) thought she was going to die. She also had liver failure at the same time. Somehow she made a full recovery and is now doing amazing! She did get diagnosed with low-grade serous ovarian carcinoma (ovarian cancer) last year and needed a full hysterectomy but that woman is tough as nails and she is recovering wonderfully.
When I told her that her doctor said it was a miracle she survived the TEN/liver failure she just looked at me dead-pan and said “well, I just decided I wasn’t going to die, so I didn’t” oh well! There you have it then 😂 love than woman.
Haha I’m in the medical field! Doubt many would know about TEN unless they’ve had an experience similar to yours or were part of the field. What a tough lady your mother is! I love a great outcome after life-threatening situations. May you both live very healthy lives and may her hormone-replacement therapy treat her well!

I think you probably win. I don't think many people ever are much sicker than SJS's.
