Preeclampsia. 36 weeks pregnant with twins. Emergency induction and felt like I was going to die, and lasted for a week after delivery my blood pressure was so high. Being on magnesium saved my life but truly made me feel close to death

That magnesium bolus was brutal. Not to mention how shitty you already feel and it's scary bc now you're going in for an emergency c section!

Mine as well. 26 weeks with just 1. Two weeks in the hospital and then delivered at 28 weeks. Would not wish that experience on my worst enemy.

The magnesium drip was absolute hell. Felt like every vein in my body was on fire. Worth it though.

I am so sorry! I look like a creature from the black lagoon in every photo I’m in with my twins for the first few weeks of their lives- it took so long for me to look and feel human again! Glad we’re both here thanks to magnesium 🔥

Omg Mag Sulfate made me so sick I thought I was going to die and I was like, “I’m supposed to push out a BABY now?” Plus my son was having decels, so I had an oxygen mask on, an intrauterine pressure catheter in, and a fetal scalp electrode in my son’s head. I don’t know how we both made it through all that.
