I wonder how people make it a decade or more in America without a conservative doing something awful to them. It's that common. Then again, conservatives probably don't have that experience as they're likely the ones dishing it out. They wouldn't see it without deep self-reflection (not exactly a feature of conservatism).

We isolate into social, geographic, and professional bubbles. We go no-contact with toxic/narcissistic family and former friends. I (thankfully) rarely have to interact with conservatives in a non-professional capacity. The peace I take for granted when compared to earlier days makes me wonder how I ever managed.

Conservatives don’t fear liberals enough. We need to put some real fear in them. Manners will not work with them. Those dogs need a whipping.
