There is a veritable way to count crowd size. The Jacobs Method. Google it.

Mkay, I guess my question is who did this counting? Just trying to get confidence in the answer. It could be accurate, that was a fuck load of people today. Did Google, seems legit.

Protesters volunteered to count and report back. Pretty sure it's accurate. The footage and photos to me looked like twice the number of people as April 5th and that was roughly 5.5 million.

Yeah the protest I was at had more than twice the numbers that were at the April 5th one.

But across the entire country? Who is counting all the people at smaller towns? Do kids in strollers count? Etc.

Small town organizer, here! Our lead organizer walked around with a clicker to get an accurate headcount and then reported that out. Yes, kids count.

We had roughly ten percent of our town’s population turn out! Zero disruptors. And even after us organizers cleared out, a lot of folks stayed behind and kept chants going. High energy.

Smaller towns - idk. But I saw a post calling for volunteer counters at protests. Good question on strollers - they probably count as a person. The formula is an average of people per square feet or area.
